Why you’ll love Pacific Waters Spa: The thing our guests love most about our spa is our staff. Our therapists are technically exceptional, and our front desk team and attendants bring a warmth that guests feel from the moment they walk in. That's what keeps people coming back.
Relaxation Lounge at Pacific Waters Spa
The vibe: The first thing guests notice is the scent: teak wood, sage, and citrus. That's our signature, and it does a lot of work before anyone says a word. The vibe is relaxed but refined. What I'm proudest of is that about half our business is local, with over 250 active spa members. This isn't just a resort spa, it's a community space

Key features: We have 16 treatment rooms: four facial rooms, ten massage rooms (three of those are couples' suites), a Vichy shower room, and a couples' soaking tub room. The fitness facility is newly renovated with Precor equipment, Peloton bikes, a Hydrow Rower, and a CLMBR. The locker rooms have steam, sauna, saltwater hot tubs, and relaxation lounges, and both connect to a shared coed patio.

Signature treatment: Our Signature Massage is designed to conjure the sensation of ocean waves: rhythmic, intentional, and deeply restorative.

Unique treatment: The Sea Holistic uses herbal poultices made in-house, drawing on Thai and Balinese traditions. The Thai-inspired blend uses lavender, sage, and rosemary to encourage relaxation, while the Balinese targets tight muscles with ginger, turmeric, cloves, and cinnamon. The herbs are steamed to release their oils, then worked directly into the massage.
A selection of spa snacks, including nuts, seeds, and spa bars
Spa snacks: We always offer fresh and dried fruit, a variety of nuts and seeds, zucchini breakfast bread in the morning, and spa bars in the afternoon.
Showers feature shampoo from Innersense Organic Beauty.
Featured brands: Cause Medic, Circadia, Bathorium, Biologique Recherche, and Codage are all featured in treatments. Innersense Organic Beauty is in the showers for shampoo and conditioner. Each one was chosen deliberately, and our team knows the lines well.

More Insider Tips for Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa
What are your recommendations for getting the most out of the resort's coastal setting?
Do our Beach Walk barefoot, ideally right where the water meets the sand. It sounds simple, but the science backs it up. Negative ions from ocean air increase serotonin and reduce stress hormones, the sound of waves activates your parasympathetic nervous system, and salt air carries magnesium and trace minerals. You're essentially doing a wellness treatment without realizing it.
Do you have any favorite highlights from the resort's curated programming?
Beach Yoga is definitely our most popular, and once you've done it with the Pacific Ocean in front of you, it's easy to see why. For guests who want something more high-energy, Beach Boot Camp brings that intensity to the sand.
Our Beach Walk is a bit of a hidden gem, with movement combined with the natural environment in a way that leaves you feeling genuinely grounded. Each one is different, but they all tap into our oceanfront destination.
Tell us about the hotel's dining options. Do you have any favorite menu recommendations?
The fish tacos by the pool, crispy green bean fries at Pete's Sunset Grille, and blackened shrimp burrito at SHOR are all some of my favorites.
And at Watertable, the Bourbon Peach Cobbler Waffle for breakfast is the one to try. For dinner at Watertable, I always recommend ordering family-style to try more of the seasonal menu.
