A Trip Down Memory Lane: Our Favorite Lisa Frank Collaborations Throughout the Years

Growing up in the ‘90s, Lisa Frank was every young girl’s dream. The endless product offerings, which included everything from stickers and three-ring binders to jewelry and clothing, all featured the iconic brand’s signature aesthetic of cute, cuddly animals and the brightest colors and patterns—and were the ultimate acid trip for pre-teens.

Despite growing up and becoming an adult, there’s a still a part of me that will always love Lisa Frank (and I know I’m not the only one!) The company seems to know this and over the years has continued to cater to the nostalgia of longtime fans by participating in various collaborations with other brands.

Back in 2019, Hotels.com offered a special pop-up Lisa Frank hotel room in downtown Los Angeles that cost $199 per night. The penthouse came stocked with everything one could ever want and need in order to enjoy the ultimate ‘90s sleepover party including a candy counter, light-up canopy beds, colorful wall art, themed pillows and more. Talk about Instagram-worthy!

If you’ve managed to hold on to some of your Lisa Frank items from childhood, you’d be surprised to know that some of them have gone up in value and are worth a pretty penny now. Check out this article by BuzzFeed that lists the 16 most expensive pieces of vintage Lisa Frank merchandise to see if you’ve managed to strike it rich on your original investment! And if you’re a Beanie Baby lover and collector, you can find retired beanies from The Fantastic World of Lisa Frank that are available for purchase here.

From custom Reeboks to makeup palettes, we take a trip down memory lane to look at the iconic brand’s most memorable collaborations throughout the years. Some are currently available for purchase while others you’ll need to hunt down on eBay to get lucky! Read on to discover and shop:

The collab we’ve all been waiting for: Lele meets Lisa! Lisa Frank BlendJet 2 ($59.95)

Serve up fun and flavorful smoothies, shakes and drinks with the BlendJet 2—a convenient and stylish portable blender that you can take anywhere. The rechargeable blended lasts for 15+ blends and has the power to blend everything from ice and frozen fruit to leafy greens (we love using it to make iced matcha lattes and collagen drinks!) In addition to a rainbow of different hues, the BlendJet 2 is also available in three special Lisa Frank designs: Rainbow Fade, Rainbow Leopard, and Tie-Dye. And at $64.95 each, why buy one when you can have them all?

Lisa Frank x Casetify

Lisa Frank collaborated with Casetify in 2019 for a fun collection of protective iPhone and Android phone cases, phone pockets, phone ring holders, Apple Watch bands, wireless phone charging pads and more! One of our favorite items from this collab was the Composition iPad folio case available in multiple colors. While the collection is no longer available at the moment, select items can be found on eBay and Poshmark.

Lisa Frank x Crocs

While Crocs might not be for everyone, these limited-edition Lisa Frank Crocs would make anyone do a double-take! Available in both adult’s and kid’s sizes, the comfy clogs come in colorful boxes and prints, and are covered in Jibbitz charms. Although the Crocs from the collab are sold out on the website, they can be found in abundance on eBay and Poshmark. If you’re looking to jazz up a current pair of Crocs, the Lisa Frank 5-Pack of Jibbitz charms is still available on the website and retaisl for $19.99.

The collection includes nail wraps in fun patterns, a trio of bright nail polish, and two amazing top coats—an iridescent Star Glaze for an out-of-this-world finish and Hits the Spot, a sparkling confetti topper that really brings the party! Recently, they dropped a second collection with four new top coats and four different nail strip designs featuring cute Lisa Frank kittens, unicorns and more! The collab is available for purchase on Orly’s website, while select items can be found on Lisa Frank’s website and Ulta Beauty.

Lisa Frank Pillsbury Unicorn Shape Sugar Cookie Dough

Within minutes you can enjoy colorful cookies that taste as good as they look! This limited-edition sugar cookie dough features a magical unicorn design that kids and adults alike will love. The best part? It’s made with pasteurized eggs and heat-treated flour so you can eat it raw or baked! The cookies launched in December 2021 and were available at select retailers including Target for a limited time. They don’t appear to be available at the moment, but we’re praying they bring this one back!

Lisa Frank x Reebok

This is another collab we’d love to see come back: Lisa Frank x Reebok! Back in 2017, the brands joined forces to reimagine the Reebok Classic Leather Shoe, giving it a totally fab makeover with unicorns, puppies, rainbows, and everything in between! The shoes were available in adult’s and children’s sizes, and also featured neon-colored shoelaces. These are currently sold out and are super hard to find aside from the occasional pair for sale on eBay, Poshmark or other resale website.
