Alisal Ranch Trading Co.’s new products features scents inspired by aromatic plants that are native to the ranch including fresh grass, rose, sage, and wood, with lead scents consisting of a cedar wood shampoo, clary sage body wash, neroli conditioner, and rose lotion.

The signature scent also includes essence of oak moss and tobacco, which adds a playful nod to the rich cowboy culture at Alisal Ranch and its history of ranchers who have played a key role in conservation and preservation of the land.

The natural origin, non-GMO, and ethically sourced ingredients in the products offer numerous benefits for the body, scalp, and skin with a unique formula that provides both a somatic and emotional experience.

“The partnership between GARA Skincare and Alisal Ranch unfolded naturally,” says Emilee Dziuk-Barnett, Co-Founder of GARA Skincare. “I was inspired by the land, its wildness, the native plants and beautiful landscapes at the ranch. When developing the custom scents for Alisal Ranch, we looked at the native plans and their traditional uses by the indigenous Chumash peoples. Through this process, we chose to profile scents like rose, clary sage, oak moss and neroli, which we feel are such strong identifiers for Alisal Ranch’s custom scent.”

Alisal Ranch Trading Co. products will be available in the ranch’s guest cottages and are also available for purchase at The Mercantile, the property’s retail boutique that carries a variety of clothing, gift items, home goods, accessories, spa products, and more.
