Attend Sedona's Star Party to Discover Constellations, Planets, and More
During the month of August, the famous dark skies of Sedona, Arizona put on a spectacular display. Now in its second year, the Sedona Star Party is an opportunity for the community to witness nature’s celestial majesty in all its glory. The astronomers of the Verde Valley will provide telescopes for free viewing and laser-guided constellation tours, giving participants the chance to view the Summer Milky Way, Jupiter, Saturn, Mars, and more.
Sedona, Arizona Unveils Sustainable Tourism
The free community event will take place on August 2, 2019 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. at Posse Grounds Park’s Lower Sports Field in West Sedona. It is open to all ages, so be sure to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks—and enjoy the dazzling stars!
