The brand is inspired by the pillars of Ayurveda, an ancient holistic approach to health that dates back over 5,000 years. We caught up with Vatika Ayurveda’s Head of Marketing, Iti Tripathi, to learn more about the new haircare brand.
When was Vatika Ayurveda launched and can you share a little bit about the story behind the brand?
Vatika Ayurveda was launched in December 2021.

What are doshas and what should someone know about them when picking out Vatika Ayurveda products?
We believe that Ayurvedic science talks about five elements that influence your hair’s destiny – air, fire, earth, water, and ether. Hair’s wellness is balanced when all these elements are in harmony. The struggles start when one or two of the elements go out of balance and dominate the rest leading to the three doshas – Vāta, Pittā and Kaphā.
