Cheetos Debuts Flamin' Haute Looks at Fashion Show and Style Bar in New York

Cheetos put its orange-dusted fingerprints all over the runway with the “House of Flamin’ Haute”—its first-ever fashion show and style bar in New York.

For the first time ever, legendary snack brand Cheetos kicked off New York Fashion Week with a runway show and style bar. Inspired by consumers' love of Cheetos and their own interpretations of the Cheetos look, the brand debuted 21 high-fashion-yet-playful looks with clothes, hair, makeup, and nail styling that took 'looking like a snack' to a whole new level.

The outfits were inspired by fans on social media and curated by famed fashion influencers and stylists @luanna, @Hungry Hipsters, @thenavarose, and @stylistjbolin, as well as one signature look designed by renowned costume designer Ami Goodheart, who has designed looks for Lady Gaga, Ciara, and others. Closing out the show, up-and-coming rapper Saweetie performed her hits “ICY GIRL” and “My Type” for a packed audience of fashion and Cheetos lovers.

The Cheetos House of Flamin’ Hot style bar served up flamin’ hot looks to New Yorkers.

From September 5 to 7, fans of the brand were invited to make appointments at the two-day style bar at the Cheetos "House of Flamin' Haute", where they were given Cheetos-style looks. Salon services included Cheetah Tail Braids, Fiery Flamin' Hot Eyes, Chester's Ombre Kiss, and Caught Snacking Nails.

"We are continually in awe of how Cheetos fans share their love for the brand and express it in their own way, whether that's creating original recipes with Cheetos or donning Cheetos-inspired hair, nail or makeup looks," says Brandi Ray, senior director of marketing, Frito-Lay North America. "We are so excited to continue to celebrate our fans and their creativity, and in turn, invite them to get the ultimate Cheetos Flamin' Haute look."
