Discover Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts' Global Wellness Day Offerings
Every year on the second Saturday of June, participants around the world celebrate Global Wellness Day and its mission: “One day can change your whole life.” For the third consecutive year, Shangri-La and sister brand properties around the world will encourage colleagues, guests, and members of the communities to embrace healthy lifestyles on Global Wellness Day.
“Travel is not only a discovery of the world around us, but it can also lead to an exploration within oneself to find moments of happiness, exhilaration, contentment or serenity,” says Todd Hewitt, Assistant Vice President, Spa, Operational Performance at Shangri-La Group. “With Shangri-La’s participation in Global Wellness Day, we hope this helps guests and colleagues not only find their #ParadiseWithin, but also foster a greater sense of place and connection to our incredible destinations.”

Morning Yoga at Shangri-La Hotel, Sydney
Global Wellness Day with morning yoga at level 36 overlooking Sydney Harbour. All guests can start their morning with healthy juice shots at the Lobby Lounge and Horizon Club. Throughout the day, CHI, The Spa and Health Club guests can enjoy healthy juices before or after treatments and workouts.
Sound Vibration Therapy at Shangri-La Hotel, Bengaluru
Shangri-La Hotel, Bengaluru will start the day on the Skydeck with children’s yoga and a family Zumba class, followed by a healthy breakfast. The hotel will invite guests, colleagues, and community members to learn about healthy lifestyles and wellness, and offer sound vibration therapy with Tibetan healing bowls.
Reborn Yoga with Reiki at Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta
Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta will host a Reborn Yoga with Reiki program, which promotes meditation and alignment to achieve a positive state of mind and physical health.
Outdoor yoga at Shangri-La Hotel, Ulaanbaatar
In partnership with Namaste Yoga School, Shangri-La Hotel, Ulaanbaatar will host an outdoor yoga session for guests, Health Club members and members of the Namaste Yoga School. Participants can enjoy healthy snacks and refreshments after the session.
Beachside Yoga at Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort & Spa, Philippines
Colleagues and community members can participate in a beachside yoga session on Ilig-Iligan Beach at Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort & Spa, Philippines. Throughout the day, guests can enjoy an early morning Boot Camp exercise class in Alon Garden, an aqua exercise class in the main pool, Ashtanga yoga at Alon Garden and complimentary neck and shoulder massages.
