One of the standout looks from this Sunday’s 91st Academy Awards was singer Kacey Musgraves’ elegant, slicked-back low ponytail that contrasted perfectly with her pink ruffled statement dress. Her hairstyle was created by stylist Giovanni Delgado, who shares a simple step-by-step for achieving the look with Oribe at home:

1. Prep hair with Foundation Mist all over.

2. Apply Volumista Mist for Volume at the roots for lift.

3. Apply a dime-sized amount of Supershine Moisturizing Cream on the ends for gloss and hydration.

4. Blow dry hair to create a straight, sleek look.

5. Once hair is dry, create a center part and brush sides into a low ponytail using a flat boar-bristle brush.

6. Use a flat iron to touch up the ends.

7. Finish with Gold Lust Nourishing Hair Oil and a mist of Superfine Strong Hair Spray for hold.
