Kura Skin Makes Skin Care Simple

Kura Skin’s mission is to help customers find the skin care products best suited for their needs.

After years of struggling with her skin and trying multiple skin care products but never seeing the results she needed, Kura Skin founder and CEO Katrina Moreno Lewis realized what the skin care industry was missing.

“That journey down the rabbit hole helped me see that potential in skin care customization service that’s rooted in data—not hype—and it laid the foundation for the company we are today,” says Lewis.

Launched in 2020, Kura Skin’s mission is to help customers find the skin care products best suited for their needs. The company purpose is to eliminate the guesswork many people go through before finding the product that is best suited for their skin.

“We’re clean skin care matchmakers,” says Lewis. “We curate high-quality, sustainable and effective products, and use data to match them to our customers in individually customized, high-performing skin care routines.”

Kura Skin customers start their journey to great skin by first taking an online quiz that asks about their goals, environment, and skin characteristics. Once that is completed, they are able to pick their price range and then using that information, Kura Skin gathers products that will work together to help customers achieve the skin of their dreams. The products are delivered together along with instructions for each product and tips on how to maintain a great skin care routine.

Once customers complete an online quiz, Kura Skin gathers products that will work together to help them achieve the skin of their dreams.

“We analyze feedback from a customer’s previous routine to inform what we send our customers next,” says Lewis. “Through our tech-enabled service, we really make it our job to get to know you and your needs on an individual basis, and that is what allows us to deliver such awesome results.”

Kura Skin’s commitment to clean beauty products is the reason they only partner with brands who are clean, cruelty-free, and who are working to reduce their carbon footprints. Some of the most popular brands amongst their customers are Indie Lee, Ursa Major, Graydon Skincare, Honua Hawaiian Skincare, and January Labs.

The time and detail that is put into each box does not go unnoticed by customers. Although Kura Skin has only been around since 2020, they have grown immensely—300% since their initial launch and they are on track to exceed that this year.

“We’ve put a tremendous amount of care and thought into building out our matchmaking system and a customer satisfaction-oriented culture, and these have translated into real results for our customers,” says Lewis. “It’s why so many of our members stick around with us for a very long time.”

Readers can get a personalized clean skin care routine for a little over $1 a day. If you’re interested in Kura Skin and want to complete a skin profile, visit here.
