Life Time Offers Complimentary AI Companion to Help You Achieve Your Fitness and Wellness Goals: I Gave It a Try
AI is everywhere these days, and that includes the world of beauty, wellness, and fitness. According to market research, the AI wellness market is projected to exceed $30 billion by 2030. Life Time is leaning into ways AI can help people on their wellness and fitness journeys with a free new AI app. The app was originally launched in Beta in 2024 and now accessible to all, even non-Life Time members.
The complimentary App, L•AI•C (pronounced "lay-see") delivers instant, science-backed guidance for fitness, nutrition, recovery, and more. How can the app help you? The app offers customized help based on prompts. If it needs more info about you to customize the advice, it asks you questions or to take quizzes to better tailor the answers to your needs.
For example, to test out L•AI•C, I asked the app: "How much protein should I eat a day based on my weight?" I wanted to test to see what it would ask next – I hadn't provided any information about my weight, lifestyle, or goals yet. L•AI•C responded by asking me to provide my weight and fitness goals to better answer the question. Once I provided my weight, it offered protein intake advice with options for different lifestyles: if I was sedentary, improving endurance, or building muscle/strength.
Here are some examples of the types of questions you can ask to help personalize your fitness health and fitness journey through the app:
"Help me build a three-day strength program to build muscle" - with guided exercise videos and recommended reps.
"What supplements would you recommend for me?" - with recommendations grounded in Life Time's trusted expertise from its in-house team of registered dietitians.
"Can you recommend a class for post-workout recovery?" - featuring recommendations from Life Time's Class Collection.
"How do I get better sleep?" or "How can I eat more protein" - with tips from Life Time's health coaches and curated information from its trusted and award-winning Experience Life magazine.
