milk + honey Opens First Spa in Los Angeles

milk + honey Brentwood opened in March 2021 and is the brand’s first spa on the West Coast.

Award-winning Austin-based spa brand milk + honey recently opened its first location in Los Angeles, which is also its first-ever spa outside the Texas market.

Located on San Vicente Boulevard in Brentwood, milk + honey Brentwood is a stunning 6,000-square-foot space that includes 13 treatment rooms, 3 soak-less pedicure stations, 2 manicure stations, a relaxation lounge, steam showers, and more.

"We're thrilled to work with Droese Raney Architecture again, they designed a gorgeous and functional spa for us in Fort Worth and are the team behind Forty Five Ten and Neighborhood Goods’ spaces,” says milk + honey founder, Alissa Bayer. “They are a dream to work with. The architecture of our spas is fundamental to our success. We need our design to be thoughtful, functional, and welcoming. We don’t have rigid design specifications because each location is unique. We want our locations to feel like siblings—not cookie-cutter identical twins. It takes a lot more effort to design that way, but it allows each spa to have its own personality, energy, and aesthetic."

milk + honey Brentwood’s service menu offers the brand’s full range of therapeutic massage, body, facial, nail, wax, and lash treatments, as well as a complete menu of medical aesthetic treatments. The spa will also carry milk + honey’s line of hyper-clean and non-toxic bath and body products, as well as its skincare collection. The products are featured in many of the spa’s signature treatments, including the Signature Massage and Lux Facial. They are available at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills and Newport Beach, and at all six Erewhon locations.

In addition to 13 treatment rooms, milk + honey Brentwood features three soak-less pedicure stations, two manicure stations, a relaxation lounge, and steam showers.

"From the beginning, our driving principle has been to make people feel good—not just our clients but also our employees and our community as well,” says Bayer. “We do not measure our success by profits alone. In addition to increasing shareholder value, we also want our employees, clients, vendors, and community to all be better because of milk + honey. When your staff is supported professionally and personally, it creates a positive experience for clients, shareholders, and the community at large. We call it the 'virtuous cycle' and that’s what motivates me to continue growing our brand. We're so grateful for the loyal support we've had in Austin over the past 15 years and we're thrilled to expand to LA."
