When was the Theradome created?

The idea of the Theradome laser hair treatment device first came to me in 2009 due to my own struggle with hair loss. In four years, I gathered a team of practicing hair loss specialists, technology experts, and skilled engineers to develop a next-generation hair restoration device. After extensive design and testing, the Theradome was perfected and is the first over-the-counter (OTC) FDA cleared, clinical grade, wearable hair loss treatment device for those experiencing hair loss or to prevent hair loss. Our website was officially launched in 2013.

What inspired its creation?

​I was struggling with hair loss and frustrated with the ineffectiveness, high cost, and inconvenience of available products on the market. While researching a solution for my hair loss, I noticed there were many other people who were also struggling to find an affordable and effective solution. Instead of finding another solution, I decided to create one that's safe, effective, affordable, and convenient to use. Theradome's hands-free, cordless, and lightweight design makes it very easy to treat hair loss in the comfort of your home. Since then, Theradome has helped thousands of people across the globe prevent and conquer hair loss!

What are the benefits of the Theradome? Are there any side effects?

The Theradome prevents hair loss, stops hair loss, and promotes new hair growth. For those utilizing it to prevent hair loss, it helps to strengthen existing hairs. For those who are wanting to stop their current hair loss, it can produce results in as soon as 4-6 weeks from the start of treatment. First, it will miniaturize hair loss by slowing it down. Second, it will reverse miniaturization by thickening existing hair. Lastly, it renews and promotes new hair growth. The timing of results may be different as individual results may vary. Who is a candidate for the Theradome?

A good candidate for Laser Phototherapy is someone who is suffering from hair loss, a receding hairline, or looking to strengthen their current hair. The Theradome is designed to prevent and effectively treat the earlier stages of hair loss, I-1 to II-2 for women and IIA to V for men. Additionally, it’ s ideal for anyone leading a busy life who doesn't have time to visit a clinic twice or a week or would like to save money on clinical strength hair loss treatments.

How many treatments does it take to see results and how long should a session be?

We recommend you use the Theradome PRO for 20 minutes a day, twice a week and the Theradome EVO for 20 minutes a day, four times a week. The Theradome can produce results in as soon as 4-6 weeks from the start of treatment. Within 4-12 weeks, your hair loss will slow down; within 8-24 weeks, your existing hairs will thicken; and within 24-36 weeks, you'll experience new hair growth. Once you achieve your desired results, we recommend you continue to follow the regimen. Laser hair therapy is similar to exercise—you have to integrate it into your lifestyle to continue enjoying the benefits.

What’s the difference between the Theradome PRO and the EVO?

It's very simple: there are only two differences. The first is that the Theradome EVO is used twice as much as the Theradome PRO because there are half the lasers, but they both produce the same effective results. The second is the price point: $595 for the Theradome EVO and $895 for the Theradome PRO. We understand treatments for hair loss aren't cheap and when one solution doesn't work, people tend to find another solution. We want to offer our customers as many options as possible so they can overcome hair loss and grow new hair.
