Seabourn to Debut Spa & Wellness Aboard Luxury Expedition Ships

Spa & Wellness is a unique wellness destination aboard Seabourn’s new ultra-luxury purpose-built expedition ships.

For those seeking an unforgettable spa experience while out at sea, Seabourn’s new ultra-luxury purpose-built expedition ships will offer the ultimate in pampering and relaxation with Spa & Wellness—a unique wellness destination where guests can enhance their physical, social, environmental, and spiritual well-being.

Designed by Adam D. Tihany and occupying its own space on Deck 7, Spa & Wellness is a sleek and serene 3,700-square-foot space that integrates the concept of a contemporary ‘floating forest,’ with details such as a textured tree-inspired art mural, light wood-and-bronze material palette, and live wood features to welcome guests into the reception area.

Striking natural stone flooring plays off muted sage and orange accent colors throughout the spa, while the branches of the floating forest spread like delicate fingers into four tranquil treatment rooms, each featuring neutral, textured wall coverings, light wood, and bronze accents.

Spa & Wellness includes four tranquil treatment rooms and skilled therapists offer an array of relaxing and healing treatments for the face and body.

The spa also includes yoga and fitness areas, which feature an open wall of windows that allow guests to enjoy floor-to-ceiling views of the seas and coastal panoramas. The sauna will also have floor-to-ceiling windows, a new design amenity for Seabourn and unique to the expedition ships.

The popular Mindful Living Program developed by Dr. Andrew Weil will also be offered to guests onboard, and will comprise a holistic mind-and-body approach to well-being, offering complimentary yoga and guided meditation sessions, as well as illuminating seminars on a variety of topics ranging from integrative medicine to creative aging, and more.

Skilled therapists will offer massage for the face and body, in addition to detox, cleansing, and wrap services. A full-service salon will also offer hairstyling, facials, manicures, and pedicures; while the fitness center will be outfitted with a range of cardio and strength equipment with a fitness director on hand to offer assessments and train guests.

Seabourn Venture is scheduled to launched in December 2021, with a second sister ship that hasn’t been named yet slated to launch in 2022. Seabourn Venture will sail on a series of 10 to 14-day Norwegian Winter voyages between December 2021 and April 2022. More information about fares and itineraries can be found here.
