Couple’s Treatment Room at the Spa at Meadowood

The Spa at Meadowood is the only all-suite spa in Napa Valley and exudes a rustic elegance with its wood-plank floors and slate accents. It was intentionally designed around a majestic oak tree to bring the natural surrounding elements into the space. The walkway that connects the suites was designed in such a distinct way that when it rains, a natural waterfall is created against the walls of the walkway for a truly serene experience. Each suite includes a private steam shower and built-in seating lounge area in front of large sliding windows that open out to forested views. All treatments last at least 90 minutes.

Spa reception

Why you’ll love it: Our spa offers a unique all-suite concept where spa guests never have to leave the comfort of their private treatment suite. Each of our eight suites features a treatment area with a relaxation space, private steam shower, and vanity and locker area. Once their services are completed, guests can book additional time in these suites to relax in private or even enjoy a meal.

Key features: Guests of the spa may enjoy our men’s and women’s garden lounges that include a dry cedar sauna, eucalyptus steam room, and, depending on the season, a cool/hot saline soaking tub as well as outdoor rain showers.

Bonus: Upon check-in, each guest is offered a hot or cold Oshibori towel infused with essential oils from Aromatherapy Associates. Next, we offer them a Stone of Intention. We ask our guests to think of a one-word intention they would like to focus or meditate on during their time at the Spa. This is then written on a small glass stone which is theirs to keep as a lovely memento of their time with us. Secondly, if anyone is celebrating a special occasion such as a birthday or anniversary, we offer our guests a glass of sparkling wine to be enjoyed in the garden lounges or treatment suites.

Insider’s Tip: To maximize the Spa experience, we encourage our guests to plan for additional time so they can enjoy the garden lounges. Many of our guests will spend hours before or after their service enjoying the spa amenities.

Spa snacks: We serve complimentary fruit and seasonal snacks in the garden lounges, along with tea from Five Mountains and Pure Inventions Wellness water. We also have a Spa culinary menu offering delicious and healthy options that Spa guests are encouraged to enjoy in their spa suites or in the relaxation gardens.

Signature treatment: Our Signature starting point, the “Essential Journey,” introduces our guests to the all-suite experience. Our guests relish this treatment add-on which can be paired with any of our services. Thirty additional minutes of time surround your treatments, consisting of a short consultation with the therapist who helps guide the session for optimal results and discusses key points of the guest’s daily well-being. Guests will then enjoy a personalized aromatherapy steam to prepare them for the services and conclude the treatments with an organic cold pressed juice to allow for a gentle recovery.

Treehouse Retreat

Most unique experience: One of the most unique aspects of our spa is our beautiful Treehouse Retreat. This room features a fireplace, soothing water feature, and a large, hammered copper tub big enough for two in which our guests can enjoy specialty baths such as a milk, mustard, CBD, or sea salt bath. This space can be booked for 30 or 60 minutes and is another beautiful space to enjoy our Spa culinary menu.

Insider’s favorite: My idea of bliss would be to enjoy an Essential Journey Massage and Facial. This is my favorite combination of treatments!

Wellness offerings: Meadowood’s fitness center offers a variety of classes including group classes such as cardio weight training and yoga.
