Why you’ll love it: Guests at The Westin Resort & Spa, Puerto Vallarta love our spa’s serene ambience and calmness – it is a place to truly decompress.
Key features: We have great amenities that guests can enjoy like a steam room, sauna, small pool and on-site salon which offers haircuts, wash and blow-outs, a nail salon, and even makeup appointments for any special events.
Insider’s tip: My insider tip is to check out the resort’s many activities that are not as well known among visitors. For guests who like to stay active, we have #MoveWell activities like a running map that takes you on a 5k around the Marina Vallarta, and kayaks and paddle boards available on-site if you’re into water activities. There’s also a #SleepWell menu with dishes featuring foods that are known to help people get the best sleep. As of February 2023, guests can also ask for items specifically designed to help recovery and aid workouts.
Spa snacks: Coffee, tea, and water are available for guests to enjoy before and/or after their treatments.
Guests can also dine at the resort’s beach-front restaurant, Arrecifes Steakhouse & Seafood, which specializes in surf & turf. The rib-eye with herb butter and the Arrecifes style lobster are a must. At El Palmar, the matcha pancakes for breakfast and the poke bowl for lunch are delicious and healthy options. Also near the beach, the new Cebichería Arrecifes offers veggie and tuna tostadas which have been incredibly popular!
Most popular treatments:
“Feel Well” Deep Tissue massage: Available for either 50 or 80 minutes.
Renewal Facial: Focuses on anti-aging, using products like hyaluronic acid.
“Just for Two Treatment: A 50-minute couples’ massage in a private cabin with access to the jacuzzi and romantic add-ons like chocolate covered strawberries and sparkling wine.
Most unique treatment: The “Love for Me” treatment, a February special. It’s unique because it’s all about self-care and guests get to take home a skin-care goodie.
Curated resort experiences: We offer many curated experiences for guests to enjoy like morning yoga, seaside meditations, crafted at Westin cocktail/mocktail making classes, guacamole making classes, our new private sunset picnics by the beach, and, finally, all of the Westin Family Kids Club activities available for families traveling with the kids.
