A Sneak Peek at the New OPI Scotland Collection, Good Girls Gone Plaid

The OPI Scotland Collection.

The OPI Scotland Collection launches this August.

I’m obsessed with everything Scotland—maybe it has something to do with my red hair. What’s not to love about beautiful green landscapes, castles, bagpipes, kilts, and mythical creatures like unicorns and Nessie the Loch Ness monster? So when Spa & Beauty Today got an exclusive invite to check OPI’s Fall/Winter 2019 collection, I couldn’t wait to get a peek at the new colors. We were thrilled to join OPI at The Society Room in West Hollywood to celebrate the new collection with a fun-filled whiskey tasting.

We enjoyed a whiskey tasting as part of the festivities.

This fall’s fashion trends include windowpane plaid and classic houndstooth—so a Scotland theme complements the styles of the season perfectly. The collection includes 12 new shades in various hues of purple, blue, and red along with orange, dark green, and taupe. The colors are inspired by the stunning landscapes of Scotland, from the rolling hillsides filled with purple Heather to the blue lakes and rivers.

OPI co-founder and brand ambassador Suzi Weiss-Fischmann shares, “The collection’s hero shade, Good Girls Gone Plaid, captures the moody, ethereal beauty of Scotland in autumn. It’s dark amethyst hue takes on the appearance of super trendy black in certain light, but with much more dimension thanks to the jewel undertones.”

Cute vibes at Society Room in West Hollywood, California.

The colors are striking—and as usual, the names do not disappoint! Here’s a sneak peek:
