4 Important Things to Remember During Summer

With everything else going on this summer, we all remember to protect our skin from the sun and hydrate our bodies by sipping many cool and refreshing beverages, but sometimes we forget the little things. Here are four important things to remember this summer when practicing self-care:

1. Don’t forget the lips.

Your lips need to be protected also. A wonderful product is Coola’s Liplux Organic Lip Balm SPF 30. The vitamin-enriched, antioxidant formula protects and conditions lips with natural fruit butters.

2. Protect your scalp.

Long hair can protect your scalp a little from the sun, but your hairline is more sensitive and can still get burned. Use a sunscreen spray along your part, as creams may be harder to apply.

3. Don’t scratch bug bites.

Bug bites can itch and linger for weeks after they become inflamed. If you happen to get stuck with a sting, it is best to use hydrocortisone creams to reduce the urge to scratch.

4. Remember to relax and rejuvenate.
