Week 1 of Weekly Wellness: Cooling Under-Eye Patches Are a Mom’s Best Friend
It’s a new year and a new month, and I am thrilled to be starting my #weeklywellness2021 project, where I strive for a moment of well-being every week. As a mom with small children, life is busy and sometimes multi-tasking is necessary, which is why I shared my wellness time with my breast pump during the early hours of the morning.
Under eye masks have become a needed staple the last few years so I was thrilled to score Earth Therapeutics Green Tea Hydrogel Under-Eye Patches during a ‘Favorite Things’ holiday game. I always gravitate towards the beauty products in these type of games and have been wanting to try the K-Aesthetics line from this brand.
As soon as I brought them home, I set them in the fridge for an added cooling effect upon use. I had a date with these nutrient-rich gel patch babies a few times during the week and felt refreshed each and every time. Soothing ingredients like aloe vera, chamomile, and cucumber ease puffiness and swelling, while green tea and vitamins condition skin and fight free radical damage.
They were easy to apply, felt incredible on the skin, and left immediate me results. I tried to use these in the morning, leaving them on for 30 minutes, which proved to be a perfect pre-treatment to makeup application giving my under eyes a boost of hydration. They have a calming green tea/cucumber scent that lingered lightly on the skin for relaxing vibes throughout the day.
