Week 22 of Weekly Wellness: More on NuFACE – Attachments and FIX

This week’s #WeeklyWellness goes into depth on the NuFACE Trinity attachments and FIX Device.

Last week, I wrote all about my experience with NuFACE’s Trinity Facial Toning Device and now it’s only appropriate to spill the tea on all things attachments. Click here to read last week’s article including the basics on what mircocurrent is and why it’s a beneficial skincare tool!

Week 21 of Weekly Wellness: Staying Current with NuFACE’s Trinity Facial Toning Devices

As I mentioned, the Trinity is designed to allow additional device attachment heads for targeted application. After a few weeks of microcurrent facials with the original Trinity, I brought out my attachments as part of my #WeeklyWellness2021 Challenge. In addition to the two attachments, I also played around with NuFACE’s FIX Device for added toning, lifting, plumping. Here’s what I learned:

Trinity Ele Attachment

Lip and Eye Attachment for Smile Lines and Eye Wrinkles

NuFace Trinity Ele Attachment for tackling advanced wrinkles on the face.

Pop on this specialty attachment on for a deeper focus on smaller areas of the face like crow’s feet, smile lines, and brow furrow. The attachment features a dual wand to deliver gentle, targeted microcurrent on lined areas including the forehead’s “11’s” with fan favorite brow arching, under-eye depuffing, and lip enhancing moves. Like the Trinity, this attachment require a gel primer and can be used morning or night.

Trinity Wrinkle Reducer

Red Light Therapy Attachment

This NuFACE attachment provides an at-home light-therapy facial.

A balanced combination of red, amber, and infrared lights, this attachment has some serious wrinkle-fighting clout. To use, put the Trinity Wrinkle Reducer Red Light Therapy attachment onto the Trinity device, turn on and apply to clean, dry skin (no gel needed with this one!)

NuFACE recommends hitting seven ‘treatment zones’ on the face including nasolabial folders, crow’s feet, and forehead for three minutes each with the device head flush on skin. The light therapy targets deep lines and wrinkles while stimulating collagen and elastin. To see best results, use daily or as often as possible for eight weeks and take a before photo if possible.

Be sure to check out the contraindications before use with this one, as the light technology may not be for everyone. My favorite technique: grab your Wrinkle Reducer and enjoy a red light treatment on the couch while catching up on your favorite Netflix show!

NuFACE FIX

Line Smoothing Device

NuFACE Fix and Serum, a microcurrent lifting and toning duo set to target the surface layer of the skin.

I found myself reaching most often for my NuFACE Fix because it’s so easy to use, quick, and instantly effective. The FIX Device is mascara-sized and has two small microcurrent spheres that use a gentle, low-level microcurrent to target the surface later of the skin. It’s so gentle that it can even be used twice a day. The brand recommends using FIX NuFACE FIX Serum as it’s a microcurrent activator supercharged with skin-loving ingredients like gemstone, mushroom, and hyaluronic acid.

It’s a great ‘finishing touch’ complement to the Trinity Facial Trainer or a stand-alone option for great skin-smoothing, eye area de-puffing, and lip enhancing. To use, apply a generous layer of FIX Smoothing Serum to the targeted area and use a feathering technique around the mouth and eyes—or try the “lip flick” for a fuller-looking pout. 3 minutes on each treatment area is recommended.

I loved using FIX in the morning, giving myself an instant lift before applying makeup. The results are impressive, making FIX a popular option for the Gen Z crowd.
