Week 3 of Weekly Wellness: Me Time With meejee

I’m a sucker for a good skincare device, even more so since I haven’t stepped foot into a spa in over a year. Naturally, I was excited to learn about meejee and test it out as part of my Weekly Wellness Challage.

A facial cleanser/massager made out of silicone, it uses sonic pulses to break apart impurities from the depths of pores while promoting collagen production and skin healing. I have a few cleansing brushes, but the silicone is a major advantage for a couple of reasons.

First, it’s a one-time purchase without the need to buy replacement brushes. And second, I don’t have to worry about dirt or bacteria harboring within thick brushes or the need to deep-clean the tool. Sleek and simple, it’s made with antimicrobial silicone embedded with antimicrobial silver for maximum hygiene.

How It Works

Mejee is easy to use and comes in a handful of fun colors. I opted for pink, but love their new mint launch, too! The front of the device includes the “cleansing zone” and power button. It features thinner, soft bristles for a gentle cleanse designed for the cheeks and forehead, and a “scrubbing zone” at the top with thicker bristles designed for extra scrubbing power wherever you need it most.

The “massaging zone” is on the back of the device for an all-over face and neck massage. The meejee sonic pulse vibrations can be adjusted to your comfort level and treat skin to exfoliation, an effective deep cleanse, and a relaxing massage with added blood circulation. The best part? It’s totally waterproof, making it a new shower staple.

Me Time With Meejee

This was so simple to incorporate into my routine and left my skin feeling great. I could tell my skin was getting cleansed much better than I can do alone. Usually after I cleanse, I can spy additional makeup and build-up on my cotton round when using toner, but after using the device it wipes completely clean.

It’s surprisingly relaxing as I massaged and cleansed for 15 or so seconds on each zone of my face and neck, and I looked forward to using it (and will continue to do so!) I used this in the shower for cleansing every day and broke it out a couple of times to use the massage portion while applying serums and moisturizer for added product penetration.

Sustainability Love

My heart skips a beat when I find a brand that gives back. Meejee is committed to using recycled materials in their product and partnered with PlasticBank to remove 4.4 pounds of plastic from entering oceans with every meejee purchase—that’s 100 plastic bottles!
