Discover Wildflowers

Everyone is talking about the superblooms that are happening all over California. Get off the beaten path, and enjoy the dessert wildflowers of Twentynine Palms and Joshua Tree National Park. On March 26, join botanist Darrell Shade to learn about native flowers, cacti and shrubs growing and blooming at the Nature Center in Twentynine Palms. Enjoy a Scenic Bike Ride

Join the community of Twentynine Palms for Joshua Tree 55, a fun bike ride through the high desert. You’ll enjoy views of famous Joshua tree landmarks including Skull Rock and Cap Rock. To learn more about how you can participate, visit our event calendar.

Ride the Free Shuttle Bus and Get into the Park for Free!

If bicycle riding isn’t your thing, you can still enjoy a lovely ride through the park on the free shuttle bus! There are several locations where you can jump on and off the bus for a day of exploring. The service runs Friday through Tuesday until May 1, 2019. May 1 – Memorial Day the shuttle will switch to a weekend schedule, and run Friday’s, Saturday’s, and Sunday’s. For more information about where to get the shuttle, visit nps.gov here.

Insider’s Tip: All entrance fees are waived for Joshua National Park shuttle riders. It’s true, shuttle riders can get into the park for free!
