There are plenty of hotel spas in West Hollywood, but where do the locals go for some luxurious pampering and self-care? If you are looking for a day spa in West Hollywood, Ole Henriksen Face/Body Spa is an option loved by city visitors and locals alike.
It’s located at Sunset Plaza, a convenient one-stop destination to enjoy shopping, dining, and (thanks in part to Ole Henriksen) even some calm in the heart of this bustling area. There’s also plenty of easy free parking. If you’ve spent any time in West Hollywood, you know how rare and exciting that is.

The Buzz about Ole Henriksen Spa in Weho
Let’s get back to the details about the spa. Ole Henriksen Face/Body Spa in West Hollywood is owned by Vance Soto, a longtime beauty industry business expert and the founder of VSOTO Skincare. Soto purchased Ole Henriksen Face/Body Spa in 2012 (from Ole Henriksen) after being the spa director there for many years.
The spa has earned a reputation as a choice pampering destination in West Hollywood for celebrities including Kris Jenner, Charli XCX, Vanessa Hudgens, Katy Perry, Aubry Plaza, Lili Reinhart, Tiffany Haddish, and many more.

I’ve been wanting to check out Ole Henriksen Spa for a while, and this year I finally had the chance to visit when I was invited for a VSOTO Custom Oxygen Facial. The facial was relaxing and satisfying. The experience is designed to have you leave glowing thanks so all the VSOTO serums used – and I did.

One of the serums featured in my facial was VSOTO Exotic Glow Pearl Serum ($90). This serum launched in May of this year is a nourishing elixir designed with a blend of natural botanicals and peptides. The multi-functional serum targets hydration to help give you the look of soft refreshed skin.
The spa’s amenities include men’s and women’s changing areas, showers, a meditation room, and a co-ed eucalyptus steam room. Ole Henriksen Face/Body Spa also provides plush robes, sandals, and towels for guests. Changing areas are stocked with hair dryers, skincare products, haircare, and body care essentials.

While I haven’t had a massage at Ole Henriksen yet, the day spa also offers plenty of massage and body treatment choices. There are also some great options for couples like the dual Moroccan bath, couples massages, and wet room treatments.
The VSOTO Custom Oxygen Facial: What to Expect

After changing into my robe and peeking around the spa to check out the amenities, I headed to my treatment room. Here’s what I experienced during my VSOTO Custom Oxygen Facial.
Step 1: Consultation
My esthetician Christian (who I’d request again) began by getting to know my skin. He asked about my goals, current routine, sensitivities, and any concerns.
Step 2: Inhalation Ritual
Under a soft cloud of steam, I was invited to take three deep breaths with essential oils to help calm the mind and prepare my skin.
Step 3: Double Cleanse
Using a blend of cleansers including OLEHENRIKSEN’s gentle cleansers, Christian performed a thorough two-step cleanse to remove buildup and create a clean foundation.
Step 4: Facial Massage
A restorative massage was done to boost circulation, soften facial tension, and lift the skin using nutrient-rich VSOTO Super Peptide Bakuchiol Face Oil. I always love any time a massage is part of a facial. This was so relaxing.
Step 5: Lymphatic Drainage with Cupping
Gentle cupping tools helped move stagnant lymph fluid, reduce puffiness, and define facial contours.
Step 6: NovaSonic Stimulation
NovaSonic tools were used to help activate my skin at a deeper level and enhance product absorption.
Step 7: Extractions
My skin really needed some good extractions. I appreciated that Christian performed careful extractions to clear clogged pores without irritation. This was really satisfying!
Step 8: Exfoliation
A light resurfacing treatment was applied to smooth the texture and refresh my complexion.
Step 9: Customized Mask with Hot and Cold
A mask tailored to my skin was applied, and then paired with warming and cooling equipment to calm, tighten, and deeply infuse benefits.
Step 10: Oxygen Serum Infusion
Christian applied professional-only VSOTO oxygen serums to hydrate, revitalize, and deliver a luminous finish.
Step 11: Finishing Touches
Christian completed my facial with the following touches:
OLEHENRIKSEN toner to balance
VSOTO Serum professional only serums
Moisturizer + SPF for hydration and protection
VSOTO Exotic Pearl Eye Crème to nourish delicate skin and lift
Lip balm to soften
Final mist of the VSOTO Everyday Spa Glow Toner to seal in my glow
