What styles are you best known for?
I'm known for short chic bobs and long layered cuts.
What cut/style do you think will be the most requested this fall and winter?
Mid-length with long layers. Many clients are wanting change from very long hair — mid-length is cleaner and fresher, but still youthful.
What are your secrets to achieving extreme shine?
Favorite product and product tip: Use Oribe Supershine Moisturizing Cream after a blowout and Milbon Moisture Mist before the blowout. The duo tames frizz and adds shine.
Secret styling tip: My secret styling tip for a super sleek blowout is to flat iron the roots after a blowout to lay down flyaways.
Dos and don'ts: A little goes a long way with oils and smoothing products. Use a dime sized amount to avoid weighing down the hair.
Tip for reviving dry and damaged hair: I highly recommend Shu Uemura Ultimate Reset Mask. It works amazingly to add hydration and softness back into the hair.
If you're looking for a less damaging tool, the Mane brush is wonderful. It is a heated styling brush with no air — just heat. You can easily do a blowout look without the pulling and super hot temps of a blowout.
