Beauty Cult offers a variety of services, ranging from facials to injectables.

Beauty Cult opened its doors in February of 2019 and is located in Redondo Beach, California. With a model similar to that of The Drybar, it strives to make skin care more accessible by offering a variety of different beauty services such as facials, micro-needling, and injectables, and retails an amazing line of skin care products.

The chic and stylish medical aesthetics bar provides guests with a relaxing and comfortable environment where they can enjoy their treatments while feeling supported and beautiful. We chatted with Dr. Clara Yu, Founder of Beauty Cult, who gave us the scoop on what inspired its creation, services offered, and more:

What inspired the creation of Beauty Cult?

I wanted a space where the beauty-obsessed could bond over facials, Botox, and skin care—a place where you feel comfortable getting Botox and don’t have to be secretive about it, because getting Botox and fillers is just as essential as facials in preventing the aging process. We want to break the stereotypes and views people have about injectables. I developed Beauty Cult to create a comfortable, supportive, and fun environment where clients can socialize while receiving the finest injectables medicine can offer.

Tell us about your background and expertise in the beauty industry.

I have worked in the aesthetics field for the past 10 years, gaining my expertise at offices boasted as the nation's top 5% of Galderma (Dysport and Restylane makers) and Allergan (Botox and Juvederm makers) users. I’m also very honored to be appointed as a trainer for Galderma, where I train other nurses and doctors in advanced injection techniques. I have also trained in advanced injection courses for Esthetic Skin Institute, as well as private basic and advanced injection courses. Recently, I was asked to be a judge for a few J-Beauty skin care contests, and I was also featured in a Dermstore article on 2019 skin care trends.

What services does Beauty Cult offer?

Facials with our medical-grade skin care line, injectables (neurotoxin, dermal fillers), PDO thread lift, microneedling with PRP, Aquagold, and a few other advanced special medical services.

What do guests love about the Beauty Cult experience?

It's fun, chic, and the energy is infectious. We made the injectables and skin care easy to fit into everyone's busy daily routine.

Any plans to open more locations?

Yes, definitely! We have our eyes set on five more locations within a 50-mile radius over the next three years. From there, we plan to roll out another two dozen locations stateside the following two years, and then expanding to the UAE and Asia while always staying fun, friendly, cool, and welcoming.
