Alchemy 43, a medical aesthetics brand with locations in New York and Los Angeles, specializes in cosmetic injectables. The med spas offer minimally invasive skin and facial treatments with an approachable, accessible, and inclusive approach that does not sacrifice the clinical expertise of treatments.
Services at Alchemy 43 are performed by licensed medical professionals including RNs, PA-Cs, and NPs who are consistently trained on the latest technology and products. Treatment options known as “microtreatments” are designed to be comfortable, convenient, and customizable to each client’s personal beauty goals. We chatted with founder and CEO Nicci Levy to learn more about the medical aesthetics brand and the story behind it.

What inspired the creation of Alchemy 43?
I spent my post-college years working in cosmetics and skin care, and made the transition into medical aesthetics in 2009. When I started working for Allergan as a Botox/Juvederm and Latisse Business Development Manager, I immediately noticed a huge disconnect between the experiential and self-care emphasis in the mainstream beauty industry and medical aesthetics. I saw an opportunity to bridge that gap and reimagine the experience of receiving a cosmetic injectable service.
How long have you been in business? How many locations do you have?
We opened the first location in Los Angeles in May 2016 and we currently have four locations: three in Los Angeles and one in New York City.
Is there a signature service you are known for?
At Alchemy 43, we specialize in cosmetic microtreatments. Our two most coveted services are Hello Bright Eyes, (which uses neuromodulators like Botox Cosmetic and Dysport) and Perfect Pout (which uses Hyaluronic fillers like Juvederm and Restylane). Our licensed medical professionals are truly masters of their craft and are experts at delivering subtle, natural results.

Do you have a favorite service?
I'd have to say my favorite service is Well Rounded, which uses the hyaluronic acid filler, Voluma, to contour and enhance the cheeks area. It's amazing on everyone and gives the most gorgeous lift to the face.
Are all services currently available and what safety precautions should guests know about?
Yes, all of our services are currently available. Our main priority is the health and safety of our clients, team members, and community. Under the guidance of our Medical Director and in accordance with the public health directives, we are currently providing medically appropriate services, including preventive and wellness care.
We’ve put a lot of thought and effort into the implementation and maintenance of our health and safety protocols to ensure the highest level of cleanliness for our staff, employees, and our community including regular health screenings, temperature checks, medical-grade PPE, as well as routine sanitizing and cleaning practices. We believe in holding to our Gold Standard of medical services and hygiene so all can feel comforted knowing that we will continue to uphold and exceed these standards of excellence! Who inspires you?
I am inspired by my colleagues at Alchemy 43, who are true professionals and truly bring their A game to work each and every day. I am inspired by other female founders who take on so much and strive to give their all to every aspect of their lives.
Secret to success?
Honestly, it's just to not give up. Be relentless in the pursuit of what fulfills you and you will not fail.
Beauty Secrets?
Eye cream day and night, vitamin C serum every morning. Botox every three months and micro-needling every six weeks. A medical-grade facial every couple of months.
Wellness tip?
Move your body every day. Walk, jog, stretch, yoga, Pilates—whatever you want, just move. As long as I FEEL strong, I can take on the world.
Best advice?
My advice is definitely get advice, but choose your advisors wisely. If you surround yourself with too many advisors and get advice from everyone, you won't get anything done. Decide which person is best equipped to advise you on which topics and narrow your scope.
