First-Ever New Jersey Spa Week to Debut January 8-15
For the first time ever, premier spas across New Jersey are joining together for the state’s first annual New Jersey Spa Week, which debuts January 8 to 15, 2021. Founded by Salt Spa at The Reeds at Shelter Haven in Stone Harbor, New Jersey, New Jersey Spa Week is a statewide effort sponsored by New Jersey Monthly Magazine that will celebrate the Garden State’s most beloved wellness destinations.

New Jersey Spa Week was founded on the premise of supporting local spa businesses at a time when the industry has been adversely affected by the current pandemic. With many facilities closed for extended periods of time over the past year, New Jersey Spa Week aims to connect New Jersey’s spa community with new and existing customers across the region introducing them to state-of-the-art techniques in skin care, wellness, and relaxation.
“New Jersey has such a vibrant spa and wellness community, but unfortunately many spas in the state have taken a big hit as a result of the pandemic,” says Lea Gorodesky, Spa Director of Salt Spa at The Reeds at Shelter Haven. We created New Jersey Spa Week to support the state’s spa community after such a difficult year, as well as to make spa more accessible for New Jerseyans who need wellness for the mind, body and soul more than ever right now.”
Participating spa partners will follow both local New Jersey and CDC guidelines to maintain the highest hygienic standards and ensure the safety and well-being of both guests and associates. This year’s participating spa partners include:
Araya Rebirth
Beneath the Surface Spa
Crystal Springs Resort – Elements Spa
Crystal Springs Resort – Reflections Spa
Flora’s Cottage
Marc Anthony Salon & Spa
Spa Avalon
The Atlantic Club – Milagro Salon & Spa
The Reeds at Shelter Haven – Salt Spa
Zahara Day Spa
“We’re excited to band together with New Jersey’s top spas to showcase the Garden State’s many wonderful wellness destinations and to help our neighbors kick off 2021 with a positive outlook,” adds Gorodesky. “We hope that this New Jersey Spa Week will be the first of many for years to come.”
