For guests that want to maintain their fitness without leaving their hotel room, Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley at East Palo Alto is now the first to offer Tonal, an in-room fitness system and personal trainer. Tonal combines expert coaching, revolutionary equipment and innovative technology for on-demand strength training, yoga and cardio classes—all from the comfort of guests’ hotel suites.

The sleek wall-displayed design replaces dozens of traditional weight machines for a full-body workout and offers hundreds of guided routines with up to 200 pounds of resistance. Tonal’s Coach technology monitors the quality of every rep and adjusts resistance for each exercise in real-time based on the individual body, and guests are guided every step of the way through on-screen instruction. In addition, guests can request a Peloton bike, Streamline treadmill, stretch ball, yoga mat, and more to be placed in their room.

The guest experience at Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley at East Palo Alto includes a renovated fitness center designed in collaboration with renowned fitness expert and Four Seasons Global Fitness Advisor Harley Pasternak. The fitness center features new ambient lighting, flooring, and state-of-the-art weight training and cardiovascular equipment.

An outdoor Fitness Cabana by the rooftop pool is equipped with a Peloton, row and elliptical machines, and free weights; and Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley at East Palo Alto has also partnered with SoulCycle to offer guests priority access to class availability, complimentary shoes and water, and transportation to the nearby Stanford Shopping Mall location.
