Popular lifestyle brand Free People has teamed up with the National Park Foundation for a yearlong partnership that will benefit national parks. In addition to a $100,000 donation to the National Park Foundation, Free People is encouraging the public to explore these treasured places through community events each month that highlight parks around the country.

Last month, Free People escaped to Joshua Tree National Park from April 15-19 for a trip that included wellness activations, a guided hike through the national park, and farm-to-table meals. Additionally, throughout the year, Free People will donate $0.25 from every transaction to the National Park Foundation when a customer forgoes a shopping bag or brings a reusable one to stores.

“National parks are fantastic places to celebrate and explore the natural world,” says Stefanie Mathew, Vice President of Corporate Partnerships at the National Park Foundation. “The National Park Foundation is so pleased that Free People supports our efforts to protect these special places and connect people to them.”
