Jaya House River Park Launches Jaya Organics Skincare
Jaya House River Park in Siem Reap, Cambodia has launched its own natural skincare brand, Jaya Organics.
Jaya House River Park in Siem Reap, Cambodia has launched Jaya Organics, a natural skincare brand that will be offered as an in-room amenity and in the hotel spa. Jaya Organics products are carefully formulated and handmade in small batches to ensure the freshness and stability of antioxidants and the natural goodness in the extracts, butters, and natural oils. The products’ plant formulations focus on the powerhouse ingredients of Cambodian native botanicals, as well as the unique natural fragrances found in Cambodian essential oils.

Jaya Organics was developed by Dennis Reinhard in consultation with an experienced French formulator. All products are free of sulfates and parabens, and avoid the use of harsh chemicals, in addition to being cruelty-free. They are created locally with 10 Cambodian employees, providing local jobs, education, and other opportunities that are important to Jaya Organics.
“We are thrilled that these products are now available at Jaya House River Park and will also be at all new Jaya House properties,” says Reinhard. “This all started when I realized that guests kept asking if they could take home our shampoo and soap as souvenirs. We were happy to oblige and filled small condiment jars from our kitchen, but soon the kitchen began to run out of jars. Through this beginning we decided to expand our product, making it more widely available as a premier brand. Now, in addition to meeting our guests’ demands, we have created jobs for the Khmer people and are doing it in an environmentally-friendly way. Just like Jaya House River Park hotel, which is plastic-free, Jaya Organics uses glass bottles instead of plastic bottles for our products.”
The line includes a Purifying Body Scrub, which exfoliates and nourishes skin with apricot seed powder, vitamin E, shea butter, and moringa oil.
Moringa is the hero ingredient in many Jaya Organics products and is a key ingredient in the Body Cleanser and Body Lotion, and is now being formulated in the new product range for the face. Moringa is native to tropical and subtropical regions of South Asia, but also grows in the tropical climate of South East Asia. Also known as the "Miracle Tree,” the leaves are rich in antioxidants and anti-aging properties such as vitamins C, B, and A. The vitamin C in Moringa oil boosts collagen, brightens the skin, helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and the oil is rich in fatty acids that help retain moisture and repair the skin barrier.
As Jaya Organics grows, the brand aims to develop additional products that will complement the guest experience at all Jaya House Hotels, creating a small piece of Cambodia that the guests can take home and enjoy. Larger quantities are also available for purchase at the hotel. Jaya Organics currently includes the following:
Nurturing Body Cleanser: An SLS-free body cleanser infused with botanical of aloe vera that cleanses without drying or irritating the skin. Moringa extract contains amazing detoxifying and rejuvenating properties.
Hydrating Body Lotion: Formulated with certified organic ingredients of rice bran oil, moringa oil, almond oil, Hyaluronic Acid, and vitamin E, this fast-absorbing lotion leaves skin feeling smooth and hydrated.
Purifying Body Scrub: An invigorating body scrub that effectively buffs away dead skin with apricot seed powder and vitamin E, while shea butter and moringa oil nourish and soften skin.
Nurturing Shampoo: A luxurious SLS-free shampoo formulated with a blend of naturally derived mild surfactants, a mix of native plant extracts, silk protein, bamboo water, jojoba oil and olive oil adds luster, body and manageability to hair.
Nurturing Conditioner: A luxurious SLS-free conditioner made with a blend of native plants extracts, coconut oil, shea butter, and vitamin E reduces breakage and softens the hair follicle, leaving hair glossy and soft after use.
Jaya Organics will expand soon to include facial care products, including a calming face toner.
