The OleHenriksen Face/Body Spa in Los Angeles is an innovative well-being sanctuary with an emphasis on original, groundbreaking skin and body services. The newest offerings at OleHenriksen Face/Body Spa include a gorgeous couple’s suite for massages with a couple’s soaking tub and state-of-the-art treatment tables by Living Earth Crafts. Additionally, at the end of July, a newly renovated wet room experience will be complete and offer scrubs, wraps, body cocktails and more.

We caught up with Vance Soto, President and Owner of OleHenriksen Face/Body Spa, for top spa tips and to learn more about the spa’s offerings.

Why You’ll Love It: The spa has always had a touch of magic about it. I believe what clients love most are the actual treatments. We are widely known for our customer service, but the services are what really set us apart. We believe in transformational treatments that touch on every sense. That is why each treatment is designed as a beautiful orchestra. Nothing is robotic about the human touch and creating magic. Many of the services are extremely result-driven as well. The guest must see and feel a difference especially when it comes to complexion treatments. The spa offers a beautiful balance of state-of-the-art technology, products, and the human touch. And we have a great location with free easy parking —unheard of in Los Angeles! We genuinely treat everyone like a VIP and are excited about your presence. I believe it is all of the above that clients love most.

Key Features: We are a boutique luxury day spa. We are not a huge resort style spa with large amenities. While we do have separate men’s and women’s changing areas, a co-ed eucalyptus steam room, and separate showers, we are much more known for our services.

We have a jacuzzi room where we perform our extremely popular and quite famous Moroccan bathing ritual. The jacuzzi room offers state-of-the-art single person tubs (there are two in the room) that were built custom by HydroSystems. Complete with LED mood light therapy, jacuzzi jets, and an exfoliation option, it feels as if you are soaking in champagne. Ambience is a candle lit wall that is pure heaven. It’s probably one of the most luxurious baths in Los Angeles.

Bonus: All guests may request a complimentary glass of champagne! Another “option” many guests don’t know about is that in Los Angeles everyone is usually in a hurry and or running behind. We don’t require the guest to change into a robe and slippers if having a massage or facial. You can just swoop right into the treatment room and maximize your service experience! Many guests do not want to change, they simply want to be in and out. We’re designed to make that easy for you or you always have the option of a plush robe and slippers. It’s up to you!

Insider’s Tip: My insider tip is that you get what you pay for. When it comes to your skin, you want knowledge and experience. We take our time to pair all guests with the proper service provider based on their concerns. We want to ensure success. While we have protocols for services and our staff are not robots. They customize every experience to the guest and your ever-evolving skin and body concerns. Invest in your skin wisely and allow an experienced esthetician to assist you along the way.

Spa Snacks: We serve African red tea, filtered water, champagne, and fresh fruit.

Luxurious Treatment: Our Red Carpet Facial. It’s a love child of mine and I designed it from scratch. Katy Perry, Lisa Kudrow, Lili Reinhardt, and Marc Wahlberg are all fans of this treatment. It uses all the skincare equipment we have in the spa and places it into one treatment! All other facials are just a lesser version of Red Carpet. Some of the fun and unique features are: HydraFacial, oxygen, human stem cells, LED lights, micro-photo LHE treatment, soundwave therapy, and much more. It’s truly is the ultimate anti-aging red-carpet-ready facial service. I am very proud of this service in particular because it is so unique and heavily results-driven. You instantly see and feel a significant difference!

Insider’s Favorite: It’s so hard to choose just one service, but if I had to pick one I would most likely pick our Red Carpet Facial. As a skincare lover and someone who had troubled skin in my past, I have a genuine love affair with this treatment. However, for those who aren’t heavily into complexion treatments, I would definitely choose one of our Spa Rituals like our Transformational. It’s a beautiful blend of wet room and dry room and a very unique experience with our five minute tropical rain rinse! Plus, who wouldn’t want a warm cucumber honey wrap complete with a full body massage? Pure heaven!

COVID Safety: The spa will continue to follow all COVID safety guidelines as required by the state and county. In addition, we have implemented our own measures of HEPA filters throughout, air purifiers in each treatment room and common areas, renovations that enlarged certain treatment rooms, enhanced, rigorous, and strict cleaning scheduled (spas however are already held to a high standard of sanitation and cleanliness). We also continue to perform all safety checks on guests and staff members as required.

Featured Products: We use a lot of OLEHENRIKSEN products. We adore them! But we also like to have some niche brands that are a bit unique for the shopping experience.
