Spa Montage at Montage Laguna Beach Debuts Virtual Reality Treatment in Honor of Hotel's 20th Anniversary
In honor of Montage Laguna Beach’s 20th anniversary next month, Spa Montage is launching a virtual reality treatment.
Montage Laguna Beach will be celebrating its 20th anniversary in February 2023, and in honor of the incredible milestone its flagship spa, Spa Montage, is launching a special treatment that invites guests to tap into each of their five senses with an out-of-body virtual reality treatment.

Exclusive to Spa Montage (which is also the first spa to use VR+ technology from Natura Bisse), the Five Senses treatment is the ultimate sensory awakening journey that extends far beyond the physical—integrating the power of touch, sound, Natura Bisse’s virtual reality, and mindfulness, complete with luminous skin results as well.
The treatment begins with the sounds of a singing bowl, a taste of honey, and a relaxing foot bath while immersing in a Virtual Reality sight and sound experience. According to Natura Bisse, the virtual reality component of the treatment assists the mind from wandering and encourages spa guests to concentrate beyond their current state. Through audio and immersive visual elements, virtual reality technology helps clients focus on their breathing, mindfulness, and the other senses that are being stimulated throughout the 150-minute treatment.

To compliment the VR sight and sounds, the treatment also includes a foot cleanse, detox mask for hands and feet, customized full-body massage, and anti-aging facial treatment. The sounds of a singing bowl and a handcrafted dark chocolate treat round out the sensory service.
The Five Senses treatment, exclusive to Spa Montage, is the first spa to use VR+ technology from Natura Bisse.
