The story behind the spa: Bamford Wellness Spa was originally created by Carole Bamford who is the mother of Alice Bamford, founder of One Gun Ranch in Malibu. Our spa embraces the essence of the Bamford brand by offering individually crafted treatments that utilize specially formulated products from the Bamford body and skincare ranges. These products are created using natural and organic ingredients, certified to the highest standards. Bamford Wellness Spa is dedicated to healing the mind, body, and spirit, following a holistic approach that fosters a heartfelt connection with nature, aligning with the mission of 1 Hotels.
Couples Treatment Room at Bamford Wellness Spa West Hollywood
Key features: Bamford Wellness Spa feature five treatment rooms and a menu consisting of nourishing massages, facials, and daily offerings. Guests can also add enhancements to treatments like Knesko Skin Collagen Gel Masks, Red Light Therapy, and Infrared Pulsed Electromagnetic Therapy mats to reduce stress and sore muscles.
Bonus: For a limited time, spa guests will enjoy exclusive access to our wellness and fitness floor along with the pool deck. Additionally, they will receive complimentary valet, adding an extra touch of convenience and relaxation to their visit.
Spa snacks: We offer a selection of delectable snacks sourced locally, including fresh fruit. Additionally, we provide curated wellness shots and an assortment of loose leaf teas, including traditional chamomile mint tea. As for dining options, the hotel offers various culinary experiences for guests to indulge in such as 1 Kitchen.
Signature treatments: One of our most popular offerings is the Bamford Signature Treatment. The treatment combines ancient techniques tailored to your well-being. Another favorite is the Bamford Wellness Facial, which targets skin health from the outside in. It incorporated two massage techniques, including Gua Shua to ease muscle tension, support lymphatic flow, and reduce puffiness.
Insider’s favorite: Personally, one of my favorite treatments at our spa is The Earth Journey offering. This three-hour luxurious experience is designed to energize the body, awaken the senses and encourage positive flow. Guests will enjoy a refreshing foot bathing ritual, followed by a stimulating body scrub using a warm botanic sugar blended with our B Silent essential oils. The experience also includes detoxification through the Infrared Crystal Sauna and lymphatic drainage combined with soundwave therapy.
Wellness offerings: In addition to our treatments, we offer a variety of unique wellness offerings. Every Friday at 9am, we host Mindful Meditation Flow on the Skyline Deck at 1 Hotel West Hollywood. This Yoga Life Creative Flow combines vinyasa movements synchronized with breathwork and building postures to enhance flexibility, strength, and openness on multiple levels.
