The studio is outfitted with a carefully curated retail offering including adaptogens, clean beauty, CBD products, functional beverages, and more. Clients can enjoy Le Labo bath and body products and Parachute Home products in private service suites.

Location:

Pause was looking for a new up-and-coming neighborhood for their second location (first location is in Venice). It was important to them that this neighborhood was a lifestyle destination where other like-minded brands could be found and where customers would be happy spending all day. They came across the new development on North Sycamore Avenue in the Hollywood Media District and knew it was the perfect fit. Pause sits on the same block as Tartine Bakery, Just One Eye, Pop Up Home, Gigi’s, and more.

Key Features:

The Float tanks at Pause are brand new and are the largest and the most technologically advanced on the market. Light, audio, and space to float is as big and luxurious as it gets. Also the way the room is set up with a luxurious shower, elevated products, and amenities are thought through at every level optically engendered to put you at ease and slip effortlessly into your float.

Pause is also the only studio to offer a private contrast suite where you can self direct your therapy. Until now, the Alpha Wellness saunas that are built in every suite have only been available residentially. This is the first commercial space that features their saunas. The craftsmanship and quality of wood, sustainable materials, and number of infrared heaters in each sauna makes it optimal for an infrared sweat. In comparison to other infrared saunas you can get a more efficient detox in less amount of time and at a lower temperature.

The cold plunge, also available in the contrast suite, is a custom unit designed exclusively for Pause that features a stronger cleaning filter and chiller than what was commercially available. Similarly to the float room, the contrast suite is designed thoughtfully at every level for an amazing contrast experience with a custom shower, lighting, and amenities. It is set up to work as well for an individual or for groups.

The beautiful part of Pause is the utilization is pretty equal across the board. Contrast suites are really popular, but the West Hollywood location is noticing an amazing response with the floats. Cryotherapy is also a heavily requested service. It’s really easy to stack the services at Pause, so many people are coming in for multiple services at a time. Customers are spending between 45 minutes to 3 hours, depending on how much they are looking to decompress.

Unique Offerings:

There is nowhere else in the city where you can do a float with the other modalities Pause has to offer. Also, Pause has the only private contrast suite where infrared sauna and cold plunge can be done at your own pace for 30 minutes or an hour depending on how long you block the room. Additionally, Pause has brought on naturopathic doctor Charles Tabone, who is on site and worked with an MD to design an incredible IV drip program.

Events:
