The name “Fjör” is an old Norse word meaning “vitality, energy, and life.” It embraces the hotel’s heritage and plays the role of ambassador to the multicultural restorative treatments found in the spa. Spa Fjör has undergone significant renovations and now has six treatment rooms, an expanded relaxation room, and a Himalayan sea salt wall that is believed to have healing powers for the mind, body, and spirit.

Why You’ll Love It: Our guests love our spa treatments. We offer everything from a multi-cultural spa experience to traditional treatments with our own special elements added to set them apart. More importantly, it’s our dedicated team of service providers who are passionate about what they do. Some of our team members have been working at the spa since it opened 17 years ago. It’s their dedication and passion that flows through.

Key Features: Our guests can enjoy our recently renovated indoor heated saline pool and jacuzzi, state-of-the-art gym, as well as a co-ed infrared sauna and a pre-treatment room enhanced with a Himalayan salt wall.

Insider’s Tip: Fridays and Saturdays are very popular and busy. To experience the spa in a more relaxed way yet still on the weekend, Sunday is the best day. Depending on the time of day, it can feel like you have the whole space to yourself even though there are other guests present.

Snacks: We offer a Wellness Beverage menu to our guests upon check in. We use Pure Inventions water enhancers. They all offer health benefits that are sugar and caffeine-free. Post-spa treatment, we offer our guests a bottle of water with a Cranberry Elderberry elixir to help boost the immune system. It’s amazingly delicious and beneficial to the body.

Bonus: We love to surprise and delight our guests. It’s not unusual to have several birthday or anniversary celebrations in the same weekend. I won’t share what we do so we don’t spoil the surprise, but I will say that we absolutely love celebrating with our guests.

Splurge Treatment: The Javanese Royal Ritual. This lavish treatment is direct from the royal palaces of Java. Traditionally, this ritual was performed on a bride for 40 days before her wedding. This Indonesian ritual begins with a Balinese massage using jasmine flower oil. A lulur exfoliant is applied to the skin for a gentle exfoliation. After a fragrant jasmine frangipani shower, you will slip into a warm soaking tub filled with rose petals. Your treatment is completed with an application of a jasmine-scented lotion. Simply amazing.

Insider’s Favorite: I have a few. My favorite luxurious treatment is the Javanese Royal Ritual because of what it entails and the beautiful scent of jasmine. However, our new signature services are near and dear to my heart. The Synergy Cupping Massage, Synergy Cupping Facial, One Bellevue Bourbon Body Scrub, and Hill Market Coffee Body Scrub are all amazing.

Unique Treatment: Our Spa Fjor Synergy Cupping Massage. We created this treatment to be a truly transformative experience. This treatment includes cupping, which is an ancient form of alternative medicine long known for its many health benefits. We have combined this modality with a high-quality CBD-infused massage oil to assist in reducing inflammation. Thai stretching, Lomi Lomi, and healing sound therapy balance out the treatment.
