The 10,500 square-foot spa includes a fitness center, full-service hair and nail salons, a private outdoor pool with luxury spa cabanas, as well as amenities such as a eucalyptus steam room, dry sauna, and whirlpool.

Key Features: Starting from the beginning of your day, you are greeted with the aroma of lavender and eucalyptus in the dressing room area. We infuse our steam room with 100% pure eucalyptus, and menthol crystals add sinus relief in the dry sauna, accompanied by a soft touch of Himalayan salt décor to purify the air. Lavender is diffused in our dressing rooms to help you unwind and relax prior to treatments. The showers are enhanced with aromatherapy shower heads infused with vitamin C and naturally designed to reduce chlorine in the water, as well as generate negative ions.

A relaxing whirlpool is available in both the men’s and women’s facilities, as well as co-ed whirlpools. A men’s and women’s earthing room has grounding chairs made of carbon material, which allows you to relax and reduce inflammation of the body before and after services in the comfort of heated zero gravity chairs that pulsate on three zones, offering a gentle vibrational massage for added circulation.

The co-ed lounge is set with comfortable seating to relax together with local farmed snacks, as well as fresh date coconut rolls, specialty teas, and infused hydration waters to replenish yourself. The waters are also rejuvenated with crystal infusions blends by VitaJuwel. A private co-ed pool with a mountain views just for spa guests makes lounging outside a tranquil spot to spend the day.

Insider’s Tip: Always arrive with plenty of time to enjoy the amenities. Decompressing before a service is often key to enjoying the treatment and enhancing the results. And whatever you do, try to avoid alcohol.

Snacks Served: Snacks are provided by Shields Dates, a local and historic spot in the desert. A collection of fresh and dry snacks are available, including the famous rolled coconut and date topped off with an almond. Tea Forte and White Lion teas are provided throughout the spa based on your personal intention, while fresh infused waters using pure inventions add a healthy sugar-free flavor to our seasonal favorites. Guests may also order off our room service menu as well.

Sunstone Spa has a private outdoor swimming pool and luxury spa cabanas.

Bonus: We are the only grounded spa in the desert. Like the lounge rooms’ grounding chairs, our massage tables are grounded to ensure the guests and the therapist are protected from EMF. The heaters on the massage table are lined in gemstones and emit natural far-infrared heat, while the usage of premium specialty gem-infused oils and warm gemstones in our services enhance your overall treatment results.

Insider’s Favorite: The Polished Gem Treatment is my favorite. We make this custom treatment with blends of salts and pure crushed rose quartz to exfoliate using heated Himalayan stones. It’s a very unique application of a scrub and extremely relaxing.

Unique Treatment: Gem Infusion Wraps, as we avoid the traditional method of wraps. While you are absorbing the healing benefits of specialty herbal clays, we use a gemstone far-infrared heating pad to help heat the body and aid in joint pain and metabolism, combined with an earthing grounding pad to reduce inflammation, similar to walking barefoot. A Sunlighten Sauna Dome with far-infrared surrounds you while a head, neck, and scalp massage is performed. It’s a truly relaxing, layered, and therapeutic experience.
