Between whale-watching and blackberry picking, The Apothecary Spa offers a refuge to the Pacific Northwest region of Washington with two locations: one in Anacortes on the second floor of The Majestic Inn and Spa and the second in the heart of Burlington.

The Apothecary Spa has offerings ranging for massages, facials and peels, body treatments, and more. Eucalyptus steam rooms, spa packages, treatment enhancement upgrades and membership opportunities are other benefits drawing both a loyal local clientele and eager hotel visitors through the doors.

The Burlington location is located within a Wellness Center with bulk herbal apothecary offering and a gift shop featuring local artisans. Inside the spa boasts salt room therapy, float pod services and energy treatments added to the service menu.

We caught up with Anna Holm, owner of The Apothecary Spa and Wild Valley Apothecary, who shared spa tips and insider information about these two locations.

Insider’s Favorite: Facials are amazing! To me, it is the ultimate relaxation. You never realize how overworked your face and scalp muscles are until you are getting a facial massage. Getting a boost of powerhouse ingredients keeps me looking young and glowing.
