World Spa is a 50,000-square-foot wellness sanctuary in Brooklyn, NY.

When World Spa opened in Brooklyn in December 2022, it brought an international bathing and sauna culture to New York that had been 10 years in the making.

World Spa’s wellness sanctuary stretches over 50,000 square feet and three floors. It boasts private cabanas, an extensive services menu, and a floor filled with pools and saunas of every conceivable flavor and temperature.

Experience the Eastern European Village within World Spa, home to the expansive Grand Banya—the largest Eastern European banya in the United States. The Village is represented by two banyans (Grand and Petite), an invigorating cold plunge pool, the one-of-a-kind Snow Room, and two private treatment rooms. The Eastern European Village is an excellent example of a wellness journey centered around thermal contrasts.

Insider’s Tip: No doubt a favorite among many of our staff is our Aroma Sauna. Aroma Sauna features a variety of dried herbs that hang from the ceiling and enchant your senses the moment you step inside. What's more, the herbs' selection changes daily, ensuring that each encounter with the Aroma Sauna is an entirely novel experience.

The spa also offers a variety of spa treatments ranging from massages to facials.

Bonus: World Spa proudly offers a variety of spa treatments for our guests. For those who want to stay within our pools and saunas, we introduced Cabana Treatments on the main floor, from foot massages and sculpting facials to innovative Waterjet dry massages. The Infrared Sauna consists of benches crafted from Alder wood with infrared heating elements to treat the back and spine with maximum heat and minimum sweat.

Dining Options: World Spa features a lounge located on the main floor and available for dining for all our guests. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner, along with signature cocktails and healthful smoothies, our globally-inspired menu caters to every craving during your wellness journey.

The Himalayan Salt Room helps treat a variety of respiratory and skin issues.

Splurge Treatment: A luxurious treatment we recommend trying is our Ultimate Platinum Hydrafacial. The HydraFacial treatment is an innovative non-laser skin resurfacing procedure that combines hydra dermabrasion, exfoliation, extraction, hydration, and antioxidant protection. With the care of amazing aestheticians, the renowned HydraFacial will leave your skin glowing and healthy.

The spa’s amenities include Moroccan and Turkish Hammams.

Unique treatment: We have a variety of diverse treatments for our guests. One of our most unique treatments is our Signature Venik Platza Ritual. Rooted in Eastern European tradition, this ritual employs birch branches and leaves to invigorate circulation, detoxify the body, and elevate the spirits.

The Aroma Sauna features the spicy, woody aroma of juniper and includes bunches of herbs hung from the ceiling.

Wellness Offerings: Every World Spa guest is invited to participate in our special events every two hours at Grand Banya or Event Sauna. Our professional Banya specialists use snow and water to increase the sauna's temperature and choose volunteers from the audience to perform a Venik Ritual demonstration. Our specialists use fans to circulate hot air within the saunas, culminating in an unparalleled heat journey. To cool down after this invigorating experience, we recommend a refreshing cold plunge or a visit to the Snow Room.

The Grand Banya offers a communal rejuvenating sweat experience to invigorate mind, body, and soul.
