Everyone is talking about the superbloom that is happening all over California. Get off the beaten path and enjoy the desert wildflowers of Twentynine Palms and Joshua Tree National Park. Tuesdays in March and April, join botanist Darrell Shade to learn about native flowers, cacti, and shrubs growing and blooming at the Nature Center in Twentynine Palms. Enjoy a Scenic Bike Ride

Join the community of Twentynine Palms for Joshua Tree 55, a fun bike ride through the high desert. You’ll enjoy views of famous Joshua tree landmarks, including Skull Rock and Cap Rock. To learn more about how you can participate, view our events calendar.

Ride the Free Shuttle Bus and Get into the Park for Free

If bike riding isn’t your thing, you can still enjoy a lovely ride through the park on the free shuttle bus! There are several locations where you can jump on and off the bus for a day of exploring. The service runs throughout the day in the northern section of the park and all entrances. For more information about where to catch the shuttle, visit nps.gov.

Insider’s Tip: All entrance fees are waived for Joshua National Park shuttle riders. It’s true, shuttle riders can get into the park for free!
