Sunrise Springs Spa Resort Reopens as Ojo Sante Fe

Formerly known as Sunrise Springs Spa Resort, Ojo Santa Fe recently reopened and its new name has deepened the synergy between the New Mexico resort and its sister property, the 150-year-old Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort & Spa.

The team at Ojo Spa Resorts has also expanded its soaking program in Santa Fe, introducing new ways for guests to “take the waters” and heal through nature across the 70-acre high desert sanctuary. Ojo Santa Fe now offers an elevated open-air soaking experience so that guests can enjoy the ultimate rejuvenating getaway.

To ensure the health and safety of all guests, all soaking experiences are currently reservation-only with each pool undergoing enhanced sanitizing measures. The Ojo team continues to monitor the government regulations for when the resort’s Saltwater Pool and communal soaking can be offered.

Ojo Santa Fe’s expanded offerings include:

  • An open-air Ojito for a soothing outdoor mineral bath that overlooks the inspiring Santa Fe landscape.

  • Private soaks in the resort’s spring-fed Repose Pools set at the edge of the Tranquil Pond and filled with the legendary waters that flow through the property.

  • The new zero gravity Float Tank with full-spectrum infrared sauna with health benefits ranging from enhanced sleep, reduced stress to increased creativity.

  • The Saltwater Pool Club has has been expanded to introduce a new serene soak circuit to the property with a new thermal plunge pool and a hot tub.

  • There are plans to introduce an Ojo signature Mud Pool and outdoor dining venue to the Pool Club to offer guests more ways to nourish the body.

  • In late 2020, the Sages Soak Sanctuary will open and transform the property’s natural spring-fed pond into a peaceful 70-foot soaking pool with a Zen-like vibe. It will be available to overnight guests along with private soak groups.

The Spa is also open offering a refined selection of locally inspired body treatments that will incorporate natural and organic ingredients. Among available selections at the reopening will be eight full-body massages including The Rejuvenator with blue corn and prickly pear salt scrub, and Legends of Ojo with reflexology foot therapy, along with Energy Healing treatments and selection of add-ons. The spa will be operating under limited capacity and has implemented advanced measures to protect guests and staff. Ojo Santa Fe will offer additional experiences for guests to enjoy including yoga, hiking, and personal fitness; disk golf and target sports such as archery, hatchet throwing, and riflery; and the Puppy Patch (opening August 1) and Silkie Chicken experiences with friendly animals ready to form deep connections with guests.

For a limited time, Ojo Spa Resorts will be offering the Two Ojos, One Outrageous Soaking Vacation package for the ultimate outdoor getaway to revive the mind and body this summer.  The package includes a two-night stay at Ojo Santa Fe and a two-night stay at Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort & Spa, access to the hot springs and pools at each property, and a complimentary 50-minute private soak at each resort. Package rates start at $889 for four-nights based on double occupancy.

“Two Ojos are better than one,” says Andy Scott, founder of Ojo Spa Resorts. “Both of our properties are inspired by legendary natural springs that have been gathering places for people seeking wellness for thousands of years. Like Ojo Caliente, Ojo Santa Fe offers authentic soak-centric experiences in keeping with centuries-old traditions to promote natural healing for the mind, body and spirit—and if there was ever a time for healing, it is now. We’re very excited to continue to grow our family of resorts, and to welcome back local clientele and travelers for resort experiences they won’t find elsewhere.”
