The Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts Launch Second Pillar of Signature Luxury Wellness Program

The Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts in India has curated Aujasya by The Leela, a signature wellness program aimed at redefining the road to holistic well-being.

Leading Indian hospitality company The Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts has spent the past year curating Aujasya by The Leela—a signature wellness program that is accessible, unique, and tied closely to Indian culture. Originating from the Sanskrit word, Aujasya translates as beneficial to strengthening vitality or energy, and the initiative will truly allow guests to embrace an enriching and healthy lifestyle.

Aimed at redefining the road to holistic well-being, Aujasya by The Leela encompasses a collection of authentic experiences that build vivacity and promote the vigor of life built around the two Rs of well-being: Restore (Food and Nutrition) and Renew (Mindfulness). Last year, they launched the first pillar of the program in collaboration with renowned nutritionist and food consultant, Dr. Ankita Jalori.

In February 2023, they announced the second pillar of the program with an online portal that guests can access during their stay. Developed in collaboration with ThinkRight.me, the mindfulness platform presents four pillars of a balanced mind and body through the techniques of yoga, meditation and sound healing. The techniques include:

  • Maitri: Loving Kindness (Focus: Kindness, Compassion, Self-Care). Fill yourself with loving kindness that makes you glow from within. With its origin in Sanskrit, "Maitri" stands for unconditional acceptance of, or loving kindness towards ourselves.

  • Samsakara: Inner Refinement (Focus: Inner Peace, Contentment, Happiness). Embrace your inner self. Pause, reflect, and cherish all special moments. With roots in ancient Indian philosophy, "samskara" is about constantly refining your inner qualities of balance and kindness to be the best version of yourself.

  • Ekaa: Being One (Focus: Gratitude, Prosperity, Grace). Show gratitude to every little thing that makes you who you are, including yourself. With its roots in the ancient Vedas, "Ekaa" is a reflection of our true inner self, which is one with nature and those around us.

  • Sukh: Mind & Body Balance (Focus: Awareness, Stress Relief, Relationships). Align the mind and body to discover a world of calm within and around you.
