Spa Profile: The Well Spa at Miramonte Resort and Spa in Indian Wells, California
Miramonte Resort & Spa provides a unique and intimate Palm Springs getaway. The elegantly designed resort is currently undergoing renovations to bring a fresh, updated look to the destination.
Rooms at the Indian Wells resort feature stunning desert views of mountains or gardens. Suites are also available for those looking for more space. Guests can enjoy two on-site restaurants and three swimming pools.
For complete relaxation, a visit to the award-winning Well Spa is a must! We chatted with Spa Director Cristina Cascio for top tips to get the most out of this gorgeous desert spa.
Why You’ll Love It: At The Well Spa, guests rave about our treatments and the providers that take care of them. They enjoy the facilities so much that they often spend the entire day with us, but the thing they always mention as a standout is the perfect size of the Spa. It’s not too big or too small, and just feels like you’re spending the day at a luxurious estate. This spa in particular has the longest stay time of any I have seen.
Key Features: The spa features full locker rooms in the men’s and women’s sides including eucalyptus showers and steam rooms. As part of the spa experience, guests can enjoy the Aqua Well Pool and Riverbench jacuzzi with individual waterfalls that cascade over the back, neck and shoulders (so relaxing), as well as access to the Resort pools with a large walk-up bar and the newly renovated Citrus & Palm restaurant.
Bonus: Currently, we are offering an Autumn Retreat package on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10am – 3pm, that includes a complimentary item on our new spa lunch menu and a 30% off of a spa treatment.
Insider’s Tip: I have seen many guests linger at the resort into the evening to enjoy the incredible mountain sunsets and then huddle around one of the many fire pits in the olive grove sipping on craft cocktails. It’s the perfect end to an amazing spa day.
In addition, the Spa features stones of intention in the treatment room to help ease any nerves so guests can relax, be present, and leave all worries behind.
Spa Snacks: Guests can order bites including poke tacos, crispy rice salad, chicken lettuce cups and more off the curated spa menu. The Chef has also created a great Mediterranean-inspired menu in our signature Citrus & Palm restaurant that is different from the menu he developed for the Spa. The restaurant is perfect for those that are staying on property or who want to spend the day relaxing at the resort.
Luxurious Treatment: The Gemstone Body Wrap is very luxurious and leaves you feeling satisfied head to toe using a facial-quality hydrating oil supercharged with a citrine stone and intoxicating scents of wild orange, vanilla and black pepper that linger with you and leave you soft and glowing.
Unique Treatment: Our Raindrop Therapy Massage is a unique, very soothing treatment (and a favorite of our massage therapists) that leaves you feeling deeply relaxed with the pressure point work done on the back using 7 different essential oils that aid in many ways. The essential oils also fill the room with the most uplifting essence.
Insider’s Favorite: My favorite treatment at the spa is the Desert Warrior Massage, as it is the perfect mix of stretching, compression and deep pressure in my opinion. It also uses the Hypervolt percussion gun that can untangle any knot for me.
Wellness Offerings: For groups, we offer yoga on the lawn and sound baths with a local shaman, morning walks, jewelry classes and more.. Next year, make sure to look out for the spa gals in gardens sessions, sage burning, spa under the stars and many other offers that will make The Well Spa a holistic hideaway for anyone that needs it.
Featured Brands: We proudly partner with Hydropeptide and Arcona for skin care, and Epicuren for body treatments. We are also looking at growing our local partnerships with the Body Deli and Temecula Olive Oil Company.
