Tivoli Ecoresort Praia do Forte has announced the launch of its new Anantara Spa. Located in one of the largest protected areas on Brazil’s Bahia coast and a one-hour drive from the city of Salvador, the resort is now home to the second Anantara Spa in Brazil. At the new spa, guests can immerse themselves in restorative healing experiences, uniting body and mind in a tropical oasis of serenity.
The spa, which was designed by architect Sidney Quintela, is a tropical sanctuary of relaxation, where guests can enjoy a private outdoor swimming pool, bi-thermal circuit, hot tub, cold water tank, steam room, dry sauna, and Jacuzzi. The spa has 11 treatment rooms, including two for couples.

The luxurious new spa is grounded in Thai therapies and Asian traditions, and fused with indigenous and authentic Brazilian elements such as palm oil, coconut, and Brazilian coffee. All treatments are performed by highly trained and specialized therapists. These wellness experts tailor guest experiences from a comprehensive menu of body and facial treatments and massages, bringing together exclusive ingredients and aromas, and time-honored techniques to help promote long-term health and well-being.
Among the spa menu highlights are the Anantara Signature Massage, which brings together an exclusive blend of oils with movements and unique techniques which stimulate circulation, promoting deep relaxation while also restoring energy flow along meridian lines; Elements of Praia do Forte, a treatment that combines heated oil massage and aromatic herb pindas for relaxation, hydration, and toxin removal; as well as the Scent of Romance, a couples treatment that includes a skin body exfoliation, full-body massage, and a facial massage.
