TripAdvisor Reveals the 10 Most Popular U.S. Summer Destinations
TripAdvisor recently surveyed more than 3,500 of their U.S. users to find out what the most popular summer travel destinations and trends are. One of the biggest trends for summer travel will be road trips with 60% of U.S. travelers planning a long drive this summer. The most popular type of trip was “beach/ocean” with 22% of those surveyed reporting that they were heading to the water.
Not surprisingly 97% of travelers planning to stay at hotels reported that “value for money” is important. With that being said, these are the most popular 2019 travel destinations—along with less expensive (and perhaps less crowded) alternatives:
