It’s also the second largest city in the state of Washington.

Aurora Health & Day Spa
528 East Spokane Falls Blvd, Suite B26, Spokane, WA 99202; (509) 868-0538
Aurora Health & Day Spa wants to help all guests “discover their light,” hence the name. The main services they offer include five different facials, a back treatment with extractions, sugar hair removal for the body and face (including bikini and Brazilian), as well as seven massage modalities.
If you’re really looking to treat yourself, we recommend the lymphatic drainage massage. A paper in the Aesthetic Surgery Journal reported that manual lymphatic drainage is beneficial in addressing excessive protein-rich fluids—which is especially useful if you’ve recently undergone a cosmetic procedure. Or if you’re an athlete, you might opt for the deep tissue massage to help your body recover.
Whatever you decide, though, be aware that the spa operates Monday through Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. for walk-ins. Saturday and Sunday are by appointment only. Make your appointment online or by calling the number above.

That said, there are more than 18 facials on the Crafted Beauty menu including a Microexfoliation Infusion Facial, an LED light therapy facial, and a Chakra Balancing Facial. The standout is the Nervous System Reset Facial—which uses Vietnamese reflexology to address discomfort throughout the body.

According to Davenport Hotels’ website, The Historic Davenport Hotel near Riverfront Park is “Spokane’s grandest and most iconic destination.” The Spanish revival hotel has a pool, fitness center, business center, a luxury cocktail bar, and a spa and salon.
The Davenport Spa and Salon offers services such as body treatments, facials, massages, manicures, and pedicures. An added bonus of staying at the hotel is you can get in-room spa treatments. One treatment to try is the Organic Seaweed Leaf Wrap, a 90-minute treatment where you’ll be cocooned in organic seaweed. While the algae works its magic, the therapist massages your scalp for added stress relief.

Urbanna Natural Spa, Salon & Wine
104 South Division St, Spokane WA 99202; (509) 747-7076
Since opening its doors in 2009, Urbanna Spa, Salon & Wine has brought healing and relaxation to Spokane. It offers a plethora of services including brow and lash treatments, facials, hairstyling, makeup, massages, and nail care. Urbanna describes itself as a “cozy haven for adults 21 and over,” since they serve wine, too. You can order a glass of Sauvignon Blanc while you wait for your treatment.
And speaking of treatments, we recommend the Nirvana Express if you have limited time. This 30-minute treatment gives you all the luxury of its hour-long counterparts. If you’re not strapped for time, we suggest trying the 90-minute Deep Tissue Cupping Massage. Not only will you experience muscle relaxation from the traditional massage, you’ll also notice less pain as a result of the suction from the glass cups.
The spa is open six days a week and closed on Sunday. You can visit Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m to 8 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Book your appointment by calling (509) 747-7076 or scheduling online.
Vida Spa & Wellness
1105 North Lincoln St, Spokane, WA 99201
The services at Vida Spa & Wellness are separated into three main categories. There’s the salon, where you can get treatments like eyelash extensions, mani-pedis, and body waxing. There’s aesthetics, which offers permanent makeup and microblading, among other treatments. And then there are wellness offerings including biofeedback, massages, and Pilates.
One thing to know about Vida Spa and Wellness is that it’s not a traditional spa—it’s a collective of individual practitioners. For this reason, there’s no way to book directly with Vida Spa. Instead, you have to set up your appointment with the individual esthetician or practitioner.
