Having been born in the 1980s, I believe I’m technically a millennial. However, I definitely feel like I don’t fit into that category. As a pseudo-millennial, I’m only slightly embarrassed to admit that until just recently, I did not know who David Dobrik was.

Apparently, he is a famous YouTuber with over 18+ million subscribers and is known for his VLOGS and antic videos. More importantly for me as a wannabe beauty guru, he also just launched his own line of perfume: David’s Perfume.

David’s Perfume #1 ($60)

Amber & Cashmere

Described as subtle spice and woody, it is a unique fragrance that smells, well, AMAZING. I never would have thought that this line would be my newest perfume obsession. But it’s 2020, so anything goes. And I’m not mad about it.

I have been wearing it daily, and I have to say, I’m impressed. It is definitely in my top favorite perfumes. I will be repurchasing when my little bottle runs out.

I personally prefer warm, spicy scents over anything too sweet or floral, and this hits the mark.

For reference my normal go-to perfumes are CHANEL CHANCE EAU TENDRE and Tom Ford Eau de Soleil Blanc.  I know.  I’m a bit of a perfume snob and super picky, which is why I’m legitimately surprised at how much I love this. It’s good. Really good. A pleasant surprise for sure.

Grapefuit and Sandalwood

#2 is described as fruity and woody. While #1 is my favorite, #2 is still really good. A bit more fruity (hence the grapefruit), it’s warm, but also fresh and clean smelling.

I’ve used #2 frequently over the past few weeks, and I feel confident and fresh. It’s perfect for any occasion, especially my daily walk to the mailbox. #quarantinelife

Both of the perfumes are long lasting, cruelty-free, and gender neutral. Each bottle is 2 fluid ounces and costs $60. They are available online at davidsperfume.com.
