JOAH Beauty’s Crystal Glow Collection officially launched today and the product line provides everything you need to achieve a dewy glow, even if you’re just glowing from home. We had the chance to try out the collection and got some tips from celebrity makeup artist Nam Vo, who is known for her signature high-shine, “dewy dumpling” beauty look.
The Crystal Glow collection includes Tinted Luminizer Stick in 10 shades, Refreshing Lumizer Skin Mist, and Crystal Glow Jelly.

This multi-tasking stick can be used for contouring, highlighting or even an all-over glow. Designed to create a buildable and blendable “glass skin” makeup look, Tinted Luminizer Stick is made with the brand’s exclusive “Crystalide” peptide formula, which was developed to help deliver clearer, smoother, and more even skin tone in six weeks. The packaging on this product makes for easy application, one side contains the makeup stick and the other side contains a super soft brush for blending.
Nam’s Tips:
Contouring: Nam suggests using the Tinted Luminizer Stick to contour in the shape of a “3,” touching upon the highs of the forehead, the highs of the cheekbones, and the jawline.
For the nose: “I like to use the JOAH Beauty Crystal Glow Tinted Luminizer Stick along the side of the nose, as close to the natural bone as possible,” shares Nam. “I then blend down along the side—you can do this with your fingers, a sponge or a brush if you prefer. I prefer to use a synthetic brush!”
Crystal Glow Refreshing Luminizer Skin Mist ($19.99)
The name says it all! This refreshing mist is super light and refreshing. This fine mist is perfect for a little hydration while adding a touch of dewiness to your look. Refreshing Luminizer Skin Mist contains hibiscus flower extract, hyaluronic acid, and JOAH’s exclusive “Crystalide.”
Nam’s Tip:
Misting: “I like to apply the JOAH Beauty Crystal Glow Refreshing Luminizer Skin Mist on top after applying makeup. It gives you a very beautiful veil of moisture, like your face just had a drink of water.”
Crystal Glow Jelly Bomb Highlighter ($11.99)
If you want to add shimmer to your look, this a great product for your eyes, cheekbones or anywhere else you want some extra glow. The texture is a soft and jelly-like powder that offers a subtle and natural sparkle that catches in the light.
Nam’s Tips:
Highlighting: “The JOAH Beauty Crystal Glow Jelly Bomb Highlighter is pretty straight forward. I like to use my fingers and layer. I also like to apply this product to my eyelids, giving my eyes the beautiful twinkle that it also gives your skin.”
I tried Nam Vo’s tips:
First I applied my normal foundation. Then to give my look dimension, I used the Nam’s contour suggestion by contouring in the shape of a "3” with a Luminizer Stick shade slightly darker than my natural skin tone. With a shade closer to my natural skin tone, I layered Luminizer Stick over my foundation on my forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin—blending everything with the included brush. I then added a touch of Crystal Glow Jelly Bomb Highlighter to my cheekbones and eyelids. To complete the look, I also applied lipstick and eye makeup. I finished the look off with Refreshing Luminizer Skin Mist. Here’s how it came out:
