We Tried Linhart Dental
Teeth. Where do I even start?
I have always had issues with my teeth. Too many, too crowded, and all over the place.
I started going to the orthodontist when I was 8 years old in an attempt to fix the situation I had going on in my mouth. 10 pulled teeth later, years of braces, expanders, and retainers—I’m finally able to say I am proud of my smile.
I still wear my retainer to make sure my teeth stay straight. Fast-forward to the present and gum surgery. Twice. I won’t get into the gory details, but it wasn’t fun and hopefully now my teeth won’t fall out when I’m an old lady, so that’s a plus.
I say all this because teeth and oral care have always been important to me. Also, special shout-out to my parents for all the money and time they spent at the dentist/orthodontist. Thanks, Mom and Dad!
I recently had the opportunity to sit down with dentists Dr. Zachary Linhart and Dr. Jan Linhart to chat all about LINHART. Yes, please!
What struck me the most in our conversation was their idea that oral care is oftentimes overlooked when it comes to beauty and wellness, but really, it’s right in the thick of it. Your smile is important and has a big impact on how you feel about yourself, your overall confidence, and health. It’s just as important as your skincare routine.
People often think of brushing their teeth as a chore or something you have to do. Using LINHART has really upped my oral care game and made me feel a lot better about my daily routine.
You can read more about the brand here and why they are called the “Hermès of Oral Care.”
Meet Linhart, The Hermès of Oral Care
As someone who has always had issues with my teeth and worked really hard to take care of them. I wanted to touch on my personal experience with the brand, how I’ve been using their products, and what I’m enjoying.
Linamel Toothpaste ($12)
I have been using this toothpaste for the past few weeks, and I have to say, I’m hooked.
It has a light minty taste, but is not overpowering or artificial tasting. Made with aloe vera and Liname— enamel protection formulated with three essential ingredients (theobromine, fluoride, and xylitol), your mouth and teeth feel squeaky clean.
Added bonus: the packaging looks super chic on the bathroom counter.
Nano-Silver Toothbrush ($8)
The toothbrush was one of the things I was most interested in trying. Not all toothbrushes are made the same and finding the perfect toothbrush has always been a struggle.
Among other things, I’ve always had very sensitive gums, and toothbrushes that are too dense or too hard are literally a pain in my mouth. This one is just right. The dual-length bristles are infused with antibacterial nano-silver to kill bacteria (I don’t even want to think about the bacteria lurking in bathrooms) yet soft enough and perfect for my sensitive post-surgical gums.
The Whitening Collection ($100)
This collection includes everything you need to whiten your teeth in the privacy of your own home. I’ve always been interested in professional tooth whitening, but the cost and the pain (sensitivity!) has always been a deterrent. In the past I’ve had my dentist make custom whitening trays, but they were mess and just kind of. . . gross.
The collection includes:
Professional Whitening Gel Syringes
The four syringes are filled with the same vegan formula used at Linhart Dentistry, 3ML of 35% carbamide peroxide gel.
Tooth Whitener Gel
A supplement to your toothpaste, a drop is all you need to add some whitening power to your daily routine. I have been using it twice a day, and in combination with the rest of the Linhart Whitening Collection, and wow. I have really noticed a difference in the whiteness of my teeth. The gel is clear, tasteless, and an easy addition to help brighten your smile.
16-Led Whitening Light
The blue LED light activates the whitening gel and comes with a USB charger. I have been using the kit every night before bed.
Disclosure: Like I said, I have had gum surgery on my bottom teeth (twice!) and while I’m sure it would be perfectly fine, I have only been whitening my top teeth out of an abundance of caution.
I have my first dentist appointment of the year coming up and if she gives me the go ahead, I will definitely be whitening my bottom teeth ASAP. I’m not as worried about them since my smile is a whole lot of upper teeth. I can’t wait for my dentist to notice how white my teeth are!
Overall, I have really been enjoying adding LINHART to my beauty routine and will continue to use their products.
