The Ultimate Detangler

The Ultimate Detangler

If you haven’t heard of the Tangle Teezer, you’re missing out.  Over the past 10 years, with its palm-sized design, the Original Tangle Teezer has become one of the beauty world’s most beloved hair tools. And for good reason: The Tangle Teezer has won more than 25 beauty awards and continues to be a hero product and savior for people with long hair. There’s nothing worse than tangled hair full of knots that is impossible to brush through. With its innovative design, the Tangle Teezer is your hair’s best friend.

Just when you thought detangling your hair couldn’t get any easier, founder and inventor Shaun Pulfrey (Shaun P. as he likes to be called) released the Ultimate Detangler. With a patented design and 325 unique teeth, it was designed specifically for wet hair. Heavy-duty tangles? No problem! The handle allows for a secure grip and a pain-free experience, while at the same time minimizing breakage and hair damage.

I recently met up with Shaun P. for the launch and was given one to try for myself. I learned about how it works and why you need one in your shower. With his background as a colorist, both the original Tangle Teezer and The Ultimate Detangler were designed with hair health in mind. Both can be used on all hair types (even curly) and will leave your hair soft, shiny and manageable—something everyone wants. The Ultimate Detangler can also be used to work shampoo through the hair or to comb conditioner through.

Already a fan of the Original, I have been using the Ultimate Detangler and am hooked. I have long, frizzy hair and I have noticed a significant difference in the manageability of my hair post- shower. It’s now a staple in my bathroom. But don’t take my word for it. At $14, it’s worth trying it for yourself.

The Ultimate Detangler is available exclusively at Ulta and can be purchased at ulta.com.
