Whisperlodge Offers Virtual Live ASMR Immersive Performances

If you’re an ASMR fan or you’re curious and want to learn more, Whisperlodge has created a virtual adaption of their hit immersive ASMR spa experience.

For those of you that aren’t familiar with ASMR, it stands for “autonomous sensory meridian response” and is a tingling sensation/sense of relaxation that some people experience when they hear certain sounds or see specific visuals. ASMR varies according to each individual, and not every person responds to the same triggers.

Over the years, Whisperlodge has become extremely popular for their intimate live ASMR performances which are usually in-person, multi-sensory experiences. As a result of COVID-19, they are now offering virtual ASMR performances, with two upcoming events on July 31 and August 7.

Discover ASMR with Whisperlodge

The experiences will be performed by live guides who are hunkering down at home in major cities. They are 75 minutes long and are designed to lull you into a state of deep relaxation and heightened awareness. In addition to being able to access Zoom on your computer, a pair of headphones is recommended (but not necessary), and ideally you have a quiet, cozy and dimly lit space where you can enjoy the experience alone without distractions.

For the upcoming show run, Whisperlodge will be donating 10% of their proceeds to G.L.I.T.S., an organization working on better societal outcomes for trans people. Tickets to Whisperlodge Virtual cost $15 each and can be purchased here.

Whisperlodge Virtual will take place on Friday, July 31 and Friday, August 7 at 7 p.m. (PST). For more information, visit whisperlodge.nyc and follow them on Instagram: @whisperlodge
