What sets us apart the most, besides the incredible attention to detail, is our level of Japanese hospitality services referred to as “Omotenashi.” This unique cultural approach makes the client feel completely taken care of, relaxed, and mentally and physically rejuvenated. Key Features: Tomoko Spa is unique in that it is not a typical day spa with traditional spa amenities such as a sauna and steam room. Instead, we provide our clients with a more intimate space. For us, each client is a special guest, and each has his or her own room or shares a couples' room with friends and loved ones.

When you are in your room, it becomes a private sanctuary that transports you to Japan for a few hours. You wear a traditional Japanese robe known as a yukata. Each treatment room comes with your own private rainfall shower, and the couples' rooms also have a luxurious Japanese-style bathtub made from cedar wood known as an ofuro bath.

Bonus: All guests at the spa are treated to curated Japanese delicacies such as ginger tea and mochi before, during and after treatments. All these treats are meant to enhance the experience for guests to further enjoy and unwind.

Insider Tip: The spa is best experienced without the distraction of the outside world. We ask patrons to often turn off their phones, allowing themselves to completely be transported and live in the moment.

Snacks Served: We serve a variety of Japanese teas, desserts and detox water. for those doing the Couples Japanese Experience, we serve a selection of sushi and sashimi.

Splurge: The best and most luxurious treatment is our Japanese Experience. Couples can opt for a two-hour (120 min) version to really splurge. The whole experience can last up to four hours and includes our signature ofuro bath and Japanese teas, desserts and sushi.

Most Unique Treatment: There are two. One is the Japanese Experience for couples, which comes with sushi and a bath, and the other is our new facial treatment known as The Harisienne Facial Massage Treatment. This treatment uses “Toganseibi" (head and face shaping) therapy, which is a very unique and revolutionary facial and scalp massage treatment with only a select few practitioners located in the U.S. This advanced technique gently stimulates and massages the 31 muscles on your face and scalp, promoting natural anti-aging while increasing your physical relaxation.

Insider Favorite: My favorite is the signature Tomoko Massage, which uses sake and hot stones during the course of the massage.

Featured Products: We only use natural and organic products for all treatments. I’ve researched and tested a wide array of brands, and selected only organic vegan oils for all the treatments. One brand I love is Sacred Earth Botanicals Organic Massage Oil.
